Please accept my apologies for informing you of the following - My first machine served me well for a year until it stopped spraying- Because it was old, I assumed that some of the parts had worn out - and because it had provided me with many years of excellent service - I just went out and purchased a new one - I've only had this new one for about a year, and it's now experiencing the same issue - I've given up and now apply the solution with a spray bottle and clean up with the machine - I'll need to get in touch with the business - However, it appears that this is a persistent issue.
I've got a place for you- as well as a Bissell upright (I'm about to purchase this small green one) - I also use a zip tie to keep things together - the type that can be used to bundle wires - incredibly long and adaptable - A zip tie works great for me as long as the fuzz inside the suction head is still wet!

The hose and brush head separate. I clean it by immersing it in boiling water. If necessary, you could even soak it in a warm water bath. If a hair gets stuck inside the plastic portion, you can dig it out with an unbent page clip.

Excellent suction on this small machine. Two suggestions: use DAWN dish soap when the debre starts to clog the head. While the water in your sink heats up, place the Dawn on one side and hold it at an angle. After 3 or 4 minutes, flush that side of the nosel from where the suction begins for a few minutes, then flush through the hose part that connects to the machine, then repeat those steps for the other side, and the suction was as good as new. Finally, if you are cleaning up an animal accident, simply emptying the dirty tank will not eliminate the odor. A black removable gasket can be found at the bottom of the filthy tank. Take it out and prepare to be disgusted. Even after a few pee pee clean ups, sludge builds up in there. Rinse the gasket itself and the holes it fits into, and the smell is gone. Make sure you replace the gasket in the correct position; the gasket has a small cutout to help you. Also, only use DAWN dish soap; the other brands we tried were ineffective. Make sure not to burn yourself when cleaning the head. I hope that this information is useful.
This little thing has me really impressed. I purchased it to replace an area rug in my living room that my little a- There have been a few mishaps with this rescue dog. It's gray with a white pattern on it, and the white parts were starting to smell bad. The majority of the stains were removed in a single pass. I spray them down before I take the pass for the more obnoxious ones, and they usually come up fairly easily. There are a few things to keep in mind: (1) There are openings on opposite sides of the clean water/solution tank and the dirty water tank. The clean tank has a bottom opening. The dirty tank has a top that opens. The first time I spilled dirty water, I expected symmetry and got it wrong. (2) There is a limit to the amount of water that can be stored in the fill tank. You can slightly overfill it, but if the water level rises above the handle's intended level, an overflow valve is triggered, and water spills everywhere. (3) You'll have to place a second order for more solution. You'll get a long way with the small bottle that comes with it. And, while we're on the subject of that tiny bottle, The back of the package says to use two capfuls, but I'm not sure which cap that refers to because that's only a couple drops, and you're not going to get anything clean with that. The market line on the tank that says "solution" is what I follow. (4) The instructions that come with the package are abysmal. I figured it out on my own because the diagrams aren't very helpful. However, if you just look at it, it isn't difficult.
I own two Australian shepherds and supplement my income by dog-sitting on Rover. As you can imagine, the constant flow of puppies causes a lot of damage to my couch; I tried spot treating the spots as they appeared, but I ended up with discolored and stained cushions. I also didn't think the scrubbing was doing much to get the couch CLEAN. These cushions have been licked until damp, vomited on, puked on, stepped on with muddy paws, and vomited on again (I know; repulsive). This is a comparison of how my new Bissel LittleGreen looks before and after a SINGLE cleaning. I'm completely blown away! For the use I'll get out of it as a dog sitter, I'm confident that this purchase will be well worth the reasonable price. I intended to use it as a spot cleaner (which I will), but after seeing the dirty water come off of the "clean" areas of the cushion, I changed my mind. I'm debating whether or not to clean the entire couch. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> In the year 2021, I'm still using this machine on a regular basis. I've discovered that using certain detergents makes the couch cushions stiff, but this can easily be remedied by cleaning them with only water and no detergent. It's like new!.
This is something I'm completely enamored with. I wish I had more rugs to clean; it would be an OCD cleaner's dream. No spray-on carpet cleaner will ever get your carpet/rugs as clean as something that actually suckes the dirt/spills/stains up and out of the material, so if you have pets, this is a must. That's all there is to it. This device is quite simple to use. I try to avoid reading instruction manuals as much as possible, but I did check the setup on this one to make sure I wasn't missing anything, and it wasn't too difficult. The attachment is the subject of only two complaints: 1) Because the little attachment head thing isn't clear, you can't easily see when it's done sucking everything that's there (in the carpet) up and know it's time to move on to the next section while using it, which is a little annoying, and 2) because it's not clear, you can't easily see when it's done sucking everything that's there (in the carpet) up and know it's time to move on to the next section while using it. I didn't deduct any stars because it doesn't affect the effectiveness of the product, and if it bothers me that much, I can probably get a different attachment for a lot less money. Overall, this is an incredible product that I would (and have) recommend to anyone.
This was purchased over two years ago and has performed admirably. When I wasn't using it, I followed all of the instructions, did exactly what the manual said, and stored it in the laundry room. It wasn't something I used very often, but when I did, it came in handy. Now fast forward to this morning, when I discovered that my dog had made an "oops" and needed to be cleaned up. I got out my trusty little cleaner and went to work on the carpet. Yay! Then, when I lifted it to take it downstairs, I noticed wet, brown marks on my carpet where it had been sitting. I cleaned those areas only to find that new ones had grown in their place. I relocated the machine to a more convenient location. The "dirty" water cannister was discovered to be leaking in the bathroom. Yuck! After that, there was a lot more cleaning to do. After all was said and done, I discovered that the entire unit was leaking from the base - Any liquid dripped out of the base plate seams, whether it was clean or dirty. I then placed everything in a plastic trash bag, said my goodbyes, and began disinfecting my kitchen, bathroom, and any other areas where the contents had dripped. I purchased the cleaner after reading positive reviews, so I'm disappointed that it only lasted two years. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing another.
