I researched the different models for a year and chose this one. In my opinion, this is an excellent vacuum worth the money, and my husband and I agree it is a very good purchase. This is what I am facing right now. The house is 2000 square feet, I have low carpet in two of three bedrooms, and I have wood or tile floors in the other two bedrooms. A pet is not allowed. We do not have children. In the house, there should be no shoes. A ten year old Oreck upright vacuum fell apart after I had used it for a decade. Moreover, my husband didn't like it that it left marks and scuffs all over. I can't find a vacuum shop near me that can fix it. The Dyson codeless vacuum worked well for me. However, I was not surprised to find that it produced a lot of exhaust air as it was operating, so it did not feel like it cleaned my house completely.
