Questions & Answers

Is there a product with double black cans that will fit in an 18" wide cabinet with a 3/4" lip on each side? The width of the interior is 19. 5". ?

The RV- The minimum opening requirements for 18KD18CS are as follows: The opening width must be at least 14 inches. 5 inches (14 1/2 inches). The opening height must be at least 19 inches. 19 3/8" x 375" The depth of the opening must be at least 22 millimeters. 22 1/8" (125").

What is the size of a garbage can? Width, depth, and height are all important factors to consider. ?

This is only the width of the trash can (not the entire system) - 14", 10 3/8" depth (total depth of both trash cans is 20 3/4"), height - 17 and a half inches Please keep in mind that I bought my system a few years ago. I have the brown trash cans shown in the photo.

What is the size of the cabiniet that they can fit into?

Hello Big ED, I installed it on the left side of a kitchen cooktop cabinet that has left/right doors. The left door (the one on which it is mounted) is 17 inches wide. 5 inches, and the assembled size is around 24x14 inches. The bins are about the maximum size we could fit in the space, and the system has worked flawlessly. We added a felt pad to keep the inside of the cabinet door from scratching if we slammed the door shut before the bin racks were fully pushed in. G, I hope this is of assistance.

Is it possible to install this model under a kitchen island with two doors but no wall between them, allowing the tray to only be supported by one wall?

The trash can holder track is attached to the cabinet's bottom, rather than any of its sides. It makes no difference whether the cabinet has one or two doors as long as you have enough space to accommodate the unit itself. I hope this information is useful.

It's a work of art! Within a dream, on the wings of an eagle, floating on a cloud! This tiny unit made me cry for a year! It'll make you weak in the knees with its poetic curves, strong silent steel, and smooth glide
5/5

Plastic bins are tried-and-true favorites that never let you down. They're sophisticated and mysterious, and they're everything a plastic bin should be. I could spend hours removing and re-inserting this. It makes a sound like an eagle with gossamer wings soaring through the sky. I also have a secret champion feeling because I have a free handle! Oh, how I love living in my own rose-tinted bubble. Among the millions of units sold, I am the only one who has a handle. Because I couldn't find a picture or mention of this elusive handle as I poured over the incredibly detailed instructions, which had no comparison. Unfortunately, I am the sole holder of the handle's power. I will be eternally grateful to the gods for bestowing upon me this work of true masterful craftsmanship! Rev-A- will always be my idol. As the da Vinci of their trade, they should be kept on the shelf. Bravo, Rev-A-Motion! Bravo to the shelf.

It was simple and straightforward
5/5

It really works. I just got this and had to pull out a shelf and put it up on my own. It was simple because I didn't have to wait for my husband. It really works. The item appears to be well-constructed. I also appreciate not having a trash can in my kitchen that is visible.

It's ideal for concealing garbage cans
5/5

This revision was installed by me. The girlfriend approves of the shelf as well as the doormount kit. It glides very smoothly, but before securing the four mounting screws to the cabinet base, I double-checked that everything was square. Make certain to pay a visit to rev- br>br>One note to installing, dry mount the door kit for your cabinet if you're using it BEFORE securing it. br>br>I had to return this 35qt and use a 12" cabinet with the 27qt trash can version of this product because most of my 15" cabinets that fit the 35qt didn't have room. br>br>One note to installing, dry mount the door kit for your cabinet if you're using it BE This suggestion came from another review, and it made things a lot easier for me. You won't be able to get the right depth if you install it first and then use the door mount. You can install the actual slide rails at the perfect depth for when it closes and latches in by first installing the door mount kit and setting it to the middle adjustment depth. This prevents it from acting as a "stop" point when it hits the cabinet face. Mine actually "holds" the trash cans in place by catching and hitting the rubber slider ends as the cabinet door closes flush to the cabinet face. This could just be me being a perfectionist, but the installation took me longer than most estimates. The door mount kit loses a star due to the poor quality of the screws, but this is not a criticism of the product. br>br>Overall, a very sturdy product at an affordable price; the 13 gallon trash bags work fine; they are a little too tall/big, but that just makes it easier to pull them out without the bag becoming overly full and difficult to tie off.

Installation was simple, and the product was of excellent quality
5/5

After moving into a new home, we decided to buy this. At our previous home, we had a Home Depot-branded one, which I also installed. These are less expensive, have more space, and are of higher quality. br>br>The bins are thicker than the rest. The track is much smoother, and the fold-down handle makes getting them out much easier. We used to just pull on the front bin itself, and it would tip out every other time, but this handle is a game changer. br>br>The most difficult part of our installation was removing the cabinet's built-in shelf. However, the assembly and installation of this product took less than 15 minutes. br>br>It's fantastic, and we're thrilled with our purchase.

It's simple to set up and use
5/5

Who knew my trash cans would make me so happy? My review will be based primarily on the fact that I just installed it. br>br>I'm a stay-at-home mom who likes to show my husband that I can do things on my own every now and then. With my 12-month-old crawling all over me, I was able to install this as well as the door attachment in one hour. It was incredibly simple, made even simpler by the use of an electric screwdriver. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. They were written by someone who is fluent in English and understands how to communicate effectively. My kitchen has a high-end feel to it now. I'm glad I paid for it!.

The Bee's Knees were created
4/5

This is an attractive set-up. It's the perfect size for our 18" cabinet. I thought this had a soft self-closing feature because I saw a review on YouTube, but I was mistaken. That was disappointing, but I didn't want to deal with returning it and having to pay more for one with that feature, so I modified mine. br>br>Home Depot sells 22" soft close full extension slides for $20. I bought those and some bolts and installed them on mine; now I have the soft close feature, and it only took me 30 minutes to do so. The cans' cage unscrewed, so I drilled holes in the new railing and screwed it back on. The slides are riveted to the mounts that bolt to your cabinet. I drilled them out and used an 8 machined screw and nut to secure them. That was the end of the conversation. br>br>There are a variety of soft close solutions available, with prices ranging from $150 to $500. You can add a soft/self-close feature for an additional $30 and 30 minutes. It's great because it pulls itself in, ruling out the possibility that it's not completely closed and gouges the inside of your cabinet door. I have three kids, so it's great.
