can honestly say that mine does not smell from the stuff I put in it. If you're worried about it smelling from the stuff you put in it, I can happily say that mine does not. For more than 2 weeks, I have been peeling vegetables and fruit, collecting egg shells and accumulating coffee grounds.
As I said before, composting is just the act of combining the right materials and allowing nature to do her thing. The process takes time. It has only been a few weeks since I got it. Just a few minutes ago I posted something about it. There is too much space between the bin and the cabinet door hook, preventing my cabinet door from closing.
