We have placed a charcoal filter inside the lid of our bin so our bin is great because of the charcoal filter. In general, these filters last about 2 months before they need replacing. The filters can be washed in the dishwasher.

In addition to being sustainable, the material breaks down cleanly once you are done with it. It returns to the earth with very little impact on the environment.

You should be able to put the filters in the dishwasher. Do that mean the filters can be used again after being washed without having to be thrown ?

Even though I have never put it in a dishwasher, I wash it with soap and water at the sink every time I empty the container. It is a good idea to change the filter every 4 months or so to keep it clean.

The Bamboozle Bin is the only place for this? It was the wrong trash can for my regular trash can, so I returned it. Do you think it will ?

Although they are specifically designed for Bamboozle bins, you may still be able to use them in any regular trash can.

Can I dispose of used filters in a landfill? What are the composting requirements for charcoal filters?
