Thanks for stopping by, It is unfortunate that any compost bin filter, including The Simply Carbon compost bin filters, cannot be composted. As the compost bin filters are infused with fiberous polymers, the activated charcoal stays firmly in place otherwise you would end up with a powdery filter. It is important to keep in mind that different manufacturers use different polymers and that a filter that is of higher quality will have a higher ratio of activated carbon to polymer. Luckily, Simply Carbon filters contain a much higher carbon content for maximum odor absorption, which is also the reason why you should never rinse these filters as it would wash out the carbon and stains Dispose of your waste in the appropriate bin and replace it as needed. Thanks for your kind words and have a sweet day. I’m still recovering from the flu) A simple explanation of the carbon cycle)
I'm glad to see you! In a new upgrade to the polybag, we've created a resealable bag that's both air tight and 100% natural. The packaging protects each carbon filter for the lifetime of the set, and can be disposed of directly to landfill (with no long-term consequences to the environment) or recycled. In addition, the bag is 100% biodegradable using d2w technology. The environment is a very important factor for Simply Carbon, which is why we no longer use regular plastic bags. This is a good start, but I don't like it much. A simple explanation of the carbon cycle)
I'm glad to see you! Our customers have said that no mess is left behind by our filters. It is so easy to install, replace and trim the carbon because it is securely glued to the fibrous filter. You'll enjoy it! This is a good start, but I don't like it much. A simple explanation of the carbon cycle)
Thank you so much for visiting! Activated charcoal from real wood has been securely infused with polymer to maintain shape and so that compost bin filters can be used. A compost bin filter has no fiberglass, as is the case with most, if not all, compost bin filters in general. I appreciate your business and wish you a happy shopping experience! They would get moist and smell after a while. We didn't see any fruit flies, and there was no odor. There is even a handy template on the back so you can cut them down if you like. It's totally worth it to buy again, but I don't think I'll need to do it anytime soon.
As of today, I have received the filter in the mail and while it looks like what the title suggests, it did not come in a package or with a sizing template. Overall, they seem to be fine, so no problems have been reported so far.
In our purchase of the compost pail, three thin charcoal filters were included, and we recognized that these would need to be replaced within a year. It is best to wait at most two months. My two year supply of extra thick activated charcoal kitchen compost bin filters arrived quickly, and I installed them with a pair of We will definitely be able to prevent compost-related bodily odors in our kitchen using these charcoal filters. They are heavy duty, flexible, and safe to use. This book is well worth the price.
Despite it being six months since I bought my second filter, I am still only onto the second layer. I found that cutting the templates and following the instructions made inserting the filter incredibly simple, and the instructions include both a square and circular shape (although my bin came with both shapes, however I only have to use Also included is a resealable bag so you can store all the filters inside the box in a sealed environment, thus extending their lifespan. Biodegradable bags can also be found on Amazon, which is a thoughtful touch and unexpected among other brands. I'm very happy with this brand. Thank you very much.
I made it! There are some good points in here It was easy for our son to cut and place them in our compost containers once they were made. On the filters and in the containers, we still found fruit fly larvae. As a result, there were significantly fewer larvae when we used Vinegar sprayed on the filters and in the compost containers appears to be helpful.
These Activated Charcoal Kitchen Compost Bin Filters fit perfectly in my stainless steel compost bucket. They have only been with me for a week, so I cannot tell yet how long they will last, but the odor is not becoming stronger. The caps are nice and tight and keep well in the lid.
Normally I would order these filters but when I couldn't find them, I ordered these ones. This seemed like a great deal at first. The filters last longer and cost about the same as the standard ones. However, the quality of these filters is lower. have about half the thickness of the ones I used before and the odor control lasts about 3 weeks as opposed to 12 weeks with the other brand. Since I got double the number at the same price, they will last 1/4 as long as the ones I used before. Fit wise, you should It is a perfect match for the Natural Home compost pail I have. I am unlikely to order them again and I hope that the brand I normally use becomes.
Several brands of filters have been sent to me, but none fit my compost bin. There was some minor cutting to be done. This is the second time I have replaced them and the dates are marked on my calendar. Whenever I need them in a year or two, I will continue to order them.
