Away from where the can was manufactured, I can't find any printing on it. There is one thing I can tell you for sure the lid doesn't sit down tightly so flies get inside!
A compost label is only found on one side.
A tight fit keeps the lid in place. Only one day was there a buzz of fruit flies around. A sticky fly trap was placed on top of the waste bin to keep them away from the food waste. There were some who took advantage of it. It was a bug-free day the next day. I like how it looks on our countertop as well.
There has never been a time when I This soap does not leave any residue in the sink after rinsing.

Two times it has been damaged! A brief update It is difficult to attach the bucket's lid to it Fruit flies can enter if there are cracks in the screen. As they fly all over the composter, they make a lot of noise.
I now have to leave it outside for some time
This Vintage Compost Bin looks nice, but it came damaged. Then I sent it back to the author I went back to the store to order There is a tweaked lid on this one, so all the fruit flies are fluttering all over. It's a shame I now have a compost container outside instead of my nice, expensive countertop version The frustration I feel is beyond description!.
Thus, I will need something that will hold food scraps for three days without overfilling. There was no way I was going to settle for just a plain plastic bucket By preventing food odors with charcoal, it does an excellent job. It is very appealing to me the way this compost bin is colored and styled. In addition, the space is more than enough for my needs. There are two bad things here It was rusted from the weld points under the lid, as well as the chrome trim around the lip and the lid handle, from the day it was constructed. If you take off the lid, I can understand compost pails can get pretty humid. Is there a top handle, though? That one doesn't make sense to me. As well, there is no way to clean off the rust. There is a decaying odor in the enamel interior, without a doubt. Whenever I take food scraps to the recycling center to be disposed of, I place a bleach and water solution in the container. While it does reduce the odor, it does not eliminate it completely. I am not allowed to use compostable bags at the center, so I cannot protect the enamel from scraps. I really like the styling and the size of this, but the quality isn't there so it won't last very long due to the rust. I'm hoping it's a more useful item than this one.
Until recently, I had been using a bowl and silicone lid to house my counter compost bin because I was unable to find a container that would fit on my counter while also meeting the other criteria I had in mind. When I was finally fed up with that, I started looking online.
This one suited me for a number of reasons The first paragraph of the text is as follows The site looks good (and it 1) easy to maintain. All you need to do is rinse it several times and set it aside to dry. The unused portion of the toothbrush can be cleaned without a plastic bag, as other people do, and there is nothing to obstruct its cleaning. The following are the two most important things We suggest putting the charcoal filters (and refills) inside the lid of the bucket, so they are not in the way of scraps we put into I have attached a copy of the report. Aww, it's so This entry was posted in Features on 14/06/2011 by . There are a lot of things, but not many. It is best to wait a few days, up to a week, before taking my compost outside, as long as the smell doesn't become overwhelming. In this large area, you can have a heavy scrap day or a number of scrap days The average hourly wage for today is $55 It's easy to use and has a good handle, and the lid is easy to use. After using it for several weeks, I am pleased with this composter and have no Although I can smell onion/garlic scraps in it when the lid is closed, even after removing the lid, I can smell the smell up until it is gone. It is in no way powerful. They are very effective at getting rid of odors. It's easy to carry the waste to my composter, and it's easy to dump it in there as well. The process of washing it out is quick and easy. It would be my absolute pleasure to.
There's nothing I would have wanted more from an indoor compost bin than this. I find it attractive and it matches the decor in our farmhouse kitchen. Whenever there is no odor, there is no odor. There haven't been any fruit fly problems at our resort, contrary to some reviewers. In addition to the size, I am most happy with the amount of space it holds. I didn't want to have to trek to the compost bin every day, and we don't have to do so now that we have this indoor bin. I was able to clean it in no time at all. Basically, we washed it off with hot soapy water and soaked it for a bit. This is a good idea We will be able to use this for years to come, as it is well built.
It took me a long time to read the description and review before I decided to purchase. Fruit flies have not been a problem for me thus far, but I dump out the contents daily and it's not summer where I live. The lid is not airtight, but it fits Neither my cats nor the scrap bowl will touch it anymore. This charcoal filter does come with replacement filters, but I hope to extend their life by placing them in the sun periodically to air them out (this is recommended for all charcoal products -> It is recommended to place charcoal bags in the sun at least once a week so as to freshen the air). It's great that it has a handle so that I can use it to carry it Despite its size, it holds lots of scrap pieces and does not appear to be too small.
Fruit flies still enjoy it, which is my only complaint. Initially, I thought the compost bucket would discourage bugs, but it doesn't. At least it does not smell and looks In my opinion, it is worth purchasing A big plus is that it's a great.
I'd definitely buy it again. Exactly what I was looking for! Weighs less than 2 pounds, looks good, and it's odorless! I also received a great deal of extra charcoal filters. It is tight but not too tight so you can open the lid with one hand. I really appreciate that you can open it with one hand. Not a smell to be found. Excellent review! Do not hesitate to give it a try! Great product. I'd definitely buy it again.
We do a lot of juicing and this can handle leftover pulp. I also have a smaller one, but I really like this one. It looks good on my counter, fits nicely, and is handy for storing leftover pulp. This makes me feel good to be doing something positive for the environment. I line my can with a compostable bag and toss it into my compost pile.
