The walls are made of stainless steel, and the bottom is made of plastic. It's just how it looks from the outside.
There is a 5-star rating. The Glad Stainless Steel Step can comes with a one-year limited warranty. You can find the information in the trash can's box, or contact our Customer Service at info@volumedist. com if you need more information.
This can should fit any 13G kitchen trash bag. Wrapping the trash bag around the bag rings secures the bag in place, hides any slack, and prevents the bag from falling in. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service department at info@volumedist. com.
You'll have to put your own contraption together to connect them. It is more convenient to purchase a recycling container with two bins.

Bars do not appeal to me. I needed a step stool and couldn't find one. Because I'm tired of my cat rummaging through my trash in search of food, I've switched to a lid-style trashcan. I adore the little guy, but he can't possibly be eating garbage. I also wanted a trashcan that was a little more appealing to the eye than my old $15 Target plastic white trash can. This one has a very appealing design. It's a fingerprint magnet, and in retrospect, I wish I'd gone with the one with the plastic lid. In any case, a quick wipe every now and then keeps it looking great. So far, the bars that are supposed to keep the bag in place have done a good job. However, I disagree with how they operate. I expected them to cinch the bags much more tightly than they do. I use Glad bags, which are never pulled too tight. In theory, the bag dispenser in the back is cool, but it's a pain to use in practice because you have to load the bags one at a time. I really wanted to take a whole roll out of my box and stick it on the back, but loading bags into it is a lot of work, so I'm not sure I'll use it again. I like how the lid opens and closes, and the soft-touch finish. close. Overall, its primary function is to collect trash, which it does admirably. Although there may be better options for the money, this is a decent unit in general.
Unfortunately, this is a very poorly made product that looks great and is the perfect size within two hours of using it. The hinges that allow the lid to go up and down are made of a very fragile plastic that broke the same day it was delivered. I do not recommend anyone buying this because it was a really nice product but it's made so poorly that it makes you regret the order.
Before deciding on these, I looked at a LOT of pedal trash cans. Standard bag fit and a good bag retention system were two of my requirements. This one is a slam dunk. There's nothing to catch a tear or tangle on the soft close lid, and it's simple to use. The only thing I wish it had was a removable liner or at the very least a removable drip tray, but I can take it out to clean it if necessary. I bought a second one for recycling and sliced off some of the top of a cheap Rubbermaid trash can to make it fit.
As a result, I went through the trash cans of Simple Human. At first, I wanted one that you could wave in front of to open, but I realized I'd rather not deal with mechanical issues, and it's also a little slow to open. So I decided I wanted regular human garbage cans because, let's face it, they're just as appealing as garbage cans. I just couldn't justify spending so much money on a trash can. I was on the verge of purchasing the black stainless steel one, but it was already sold out. br>br>Then I happened to come across GLAD's trash can. Not only does the style resemble that of a simple human. To be honest, I prefer it. The price is fair for a garbage can of this size made entirely of stainless steel, and it closes softly. There's also a compartment on the back where you can keep a few garbage bags. I would strongly suggest it.

I like how simple it is to use the little lift-up and-down bars to keep the bags in place. I was worried they'd be inconvenient, but they're fantastic and keep the bag securely in place without being too tight. I'm glad it doesn't protrude from the side like some other cans do. It's worth noting that you can't stuff a roll of bags into the back container that holds bags. You'd have to disassemble them one by one and place them in it. After that, you should be able to easily remove them. It just takes a little time to get them in the first place. Maybe they'll come up with something later, but I really like this can. It appears to be very nice! I particularly enjoy the slow-moving nature of it. also close the lid- It doesn't slam shut all the time.
The counter is 5 inches tall! I wanted to replace our cheap plastic garbage can, but it turns out that finding a "high end" 13 gallon trash bin that will fit under a 34-inch TV is nearly impossible. The lid is up on a 5" counter! This is a fantastic one! So far, it appears to be in good working order. It's only been about a month since I got it.
I considered getting a motion-activated trashcan, but I didn't want to deal with the hassle of replacing batteries. This was the ideal enhancement! The soft close lid and extra compartment on the back, which we use to store grocery bags, are two of my favorite features. It's a little too small for the large trashbag rolls we buy, but that's not a problem. Even though they use the same size bags, our old trashcan was oval in shape and could not hold as much trash as this one. The aesthetics are by far the most important factor. It simply looks fantastic and goes above and beyond my expectations. It has a very nice high-end stainless steel look to it. It has a very solid feel to it. This is one I plan on keeping for a long time.
