There are three sizes (the picture you're showing me is in the middle size). A single box of cereal will fit in the small. The bag weighs 14 ounces. In cereal boxes, the medium fits the next size up, or 1. 5 cartons of 14 oz. The big one is enormous! I'll be able to fit three bags in there. I hope this information is useful.
ten inches tall, three and a half inches wide, and nine inches deep
Rubbermaid is a brand I'm not familiar with. This one is 100% BPA free and provides an airtight seal with a single press .
I purchased both of them. The 18 oz (1 lb 2 oz) box of cereal fit perfectly in the 5 qt container with some room to spare.

Great product, but I was disappointed to find out that previous reviews about the lid not being airtight were correct when all three cereal containers had a gap, so I decided to send it back. I decided to go over the reassembly instructions again for some reason, just to make sure. Despite the fact that the function and appearance of each of the three cereal containers appear to be the same, I discovered that the flip up lid portion was not fully installed from the factory. This was most likely done to prevent the inner tabs from cracking during transportation stress, but that's just a guess. I didn't notice the seal was now tight and there were no more gaps until I completed the last three steps of the reassembly instructions (I included pictures to show you what I mean). I believe OXO's quality control needs to be tightened, or they should make it clear that installation is still required. This could explain why some of the negative reviews on here claim that the product isn't airtight when, in fact, this part was overlooked; as a result, I decided to cancel my return. I hope this information prevents others from making the same mistake I did, which was to believe the lid was defective.
Update: These have been in my possession for about a year and a half. Keep an eye on them to make sure they're closed properly. Your food will become stale if they do not click on straight. I still like how they look, but I wish there wasn't a way for air to get in through the sides. br>br>Yes, it's pricey, but in my opinion, it's well worth it. When I Konmari'ed my house, I wanted a Pinterest-worthy pantry, and I kept seeing these. I experimented with a variety of sizes before settling on the same size for everything on the same shelf (3. (four cereals). I'm glad I did because they're visually appealing, easy to open and close, see what's inside, and pop off the lid completely for larger snacks that I store in there, such as chips that I want to dump out.
I have a lot of OXO pop containers that I love, but these aren't one of them. The lid has a gap in it that allows air to enter. That, I believe, defeats the object.
These are sold as "Airtight" containers, but they are not airtight, according to a recommendation I found online with a link to this exact product. br>I bought two of the "3 Piece Airtight POP Cereal Dispenser Set," but all six of the containers have a gap between the dispenser lid and the rest of the lid (as shown in the attached photo). These are a total failure when it comes to sealing the container and keeping the contents fresh. br>While shopping at Target recently, I noticed what appeared to be the same model container on the shelf. The Target model had a noticeably stronger seal around the dispenser lid that ACTUALLY SEALED. If you decide to buy these, make sure they actually seal around the lid's opening portion. The seal between the container and the lid appears to be in good shape; the problem is with the seal around the opening portion of the lid.
I've only had them for a few days, so I'm not sure how long they'll last in terms of keeping cereal fresh, but I'm sure they'll be fantastic! My kids have a lot of fun opening and closing them, and they don't make as much mess as they usually do! I can't wait to get some more because they look fantastic and make it easy to see what's inside. Take a look at the photos to see what size and how much each container can hold.
I love oxo products in general, but these are incredibly cheaply made and fragile; I bought three of the smaller ones and two of the larger ones, and I only have one of each left (after less than a year of use). Why? One of them, at least, I knocked off the fridge's top. My flamboyant friend did his usual ballerina twirl to reach for the hand towel, knocking another one off the kitchen table. When the third one was placed on the counter, it broke. So there was about $60 worth of plastic in the recycling bin. I can understand the fridge one, but from oxo, I'd expect them to be at least durable enough to withstand a fall of 3 feet or less. I'm sure it has something to do with the design; they like to slide around and are narrowest at the bottom, making them easier to tip over. br>br>Moreover, the fact that you have to buy a new unit rather than just replacing the clear plastic part (which is the only part that breaks) is both wasteful and environmentally unfriendly. I'm sure the lids are the most expensive part, and it irritates me to throw them away when I know there's nothing wrong with them but there's literally no other container that will fit them, and I can't just get a new container. In addition, they do not keep cereal any fresher than a ziploc bag. Again, $20 for a cereal container would be worth it if the cereal didn't go stale, but it doesn't, so they're useless. You're better off buying a $5 container from Walmart. br>br>If I could, I'd give it zero stars.
