This seems to be the case. It should be easy for them to separate since they are strong.
Having not seen the jumbo, I can't comment on it. Ours is an XL that we use for chickens. A moment or two, though, we have a chicken that lays an egg that's so large that it can't be closed. Thus, I understand that duck eggs will not be able to fit in an XL container. think the jumbo cartons are bigger than the XL, but I am not sure if they are large enough to hold duck eggs.
The eggs are divided among 14 boxes of 12 eggs each

It seems that these cartons are too small for duck eggs, regardless of what a few reviews claim. There are two chickens in my flock that lay eggs that are too large for the carton. They are Pekin and Rouen.
Upon receiving this product, I had expected a split across the top allowing it to easily be split up into half dozen sizes. That was not the case, it is a straight cut This was very unsatisfactory to me, so I left feedback to the seller, who then refunded me after explaining their manufacturer had changed and they are in the process of changing the picture. Because of the honest and rapid customer service provided by this company, what would have been a low star rating has been raised much higher. I appreciate your kind words.
The cartons are of good quality. It seems that our hens have begun to lay big, double eggs My hens started eating yolk eggs shortly after I purchased these cartons (apparently they have a sense of humor), which means that after filling up the cartons with fresh eggs, I can't completely close the lids. While these cartons can be used to store eggs from most "normal" hens, they should still work exactly the same.
I will rate them a 4. As such, I give it a star rating of If you were to rate your product 5 stars, you'd get I shipped them to my mother sight-unseen because I was worried about their condition A secret. Unseen. Her farm is still her home and she's 92 years old. Among her chickens is a coop with 30 laying hens. Recent growth here has been really remarkable. The hens are laying 3 to 4 eggs per day, and mom is struggling to keep up with Every year, we all save our crates and send them We can call it the family recycling I was in need of supplements, so I bought these. Mother says they work just fine and that she is currently working her way.
Plastic cartons create moisture when taken out of the fridge and I don't want to use them anymore. The eggs remain drier because the eggs absorb the humidity. There is no sticky residue on the bloom. Fresh eggs are new to me, and I don't wash them until I'm ready to use them for cooking. I like the plastic ones because of the double fold lock as they are kept out on the counter, but I don't like leaving them out, even for In the mean time, I repackaged them in these pulp cartons for storage in the refrigerator even though now are friends can't leave them out on the counter for long periods of time. Thanks Mike for the good cartons.
This is a good value for the money. I think they are not too terribly great. The picture shows The left-hand side The eggs were bought at the store and were in a standard carton In these cartons are duck eggs. The size of my Ancona ducks is about the same as a Pekin duck, and their eggs fit into the carton just as well as grocery store eggs without any extra space. But I would not say these are more durable than egg cartons made of grocery store pulp- The two items are about the same, and I don't expect them to last more than a few It will still work though. Thanks so much!.
As a result of the pandemic, I am buying eggs in bulk and distributing them to friends. This carton is much more sturdy than ones you would normally pick up at your local In addition, they look nice so I can imagine how they would be used There is a reason why plastic egg cartons are larger and take up more space in the refrigerator. I wanted to buy reusable plastic egg cartons, but those were more expensive. I find these to be suitable for my purpose.
Thanks for your gift. I appreciate it a lot. According to the description, these egg cartons are the same as the ones pictured. In general, they are the size you'd find in a store. I found that they fit all of my eggs perfectly. There is a nice feel to them, they are not too thick nor too thin, just the right thickness. Despite having been used multiple times, they hold up quite well. For the past several weeks, I have used the same carton in my fridge for about 3 dozen eggs. I use it every day to open and shut it, and it still looks good. It would definitely be a wise move to purchase these cartons if you keep backyard chickens. They even come with a stamp on top so you could stamp your logo on them if you wanted to sell them.
