As I didn't have an appropriate place to store a small hand towel in the kitchen, I bought this for use on the fridge and it works wonderfully! Unlike metals, the magnets are covered in rubber so they are not harmful to your appliance. Moreover, the rubber coating makes it easy to reposition the attachment anywhere you need to. You cannot disassemble these magnets without a lot of effort. They are STRONG and you will require some effort to remove and replace them. Because I do not want to deal with sliding towel bars for ever, this is a good thing for me. I also like that the towel bar has a low profile so that it won't stick out too far. So all in all this is the best option for me. This purchase has been a great experience for me.
