There were simply too many breakfast trays that were too low for people to place over their laps comfortably. Upon seeing this one I was glad to see it, which is a good height and size. However, a joint pulled apart after use, leaving thin thin nails exposed. The joint has been banged back into place, but I think I need to wrap some sort of tape over it to keep it from splitting in the future.

Given the price, I had a bit of a higher expectation for the quality of these for my kids. Their weight is very light, and their paint can easily chip. It seems they are really liked by the kids, but I am not confident they will last long since kids are pretty hard on things.

When I sit in bed relaxing, I love watching TV, reading,etc it is very handy and wide enough to hold a book, coffee, snack, or lunch plate without having to put anything on my bed and take the chance of it spilling over. I was glad I brought this when the snow was here in Louisiana for a few days. The folding feature is great, and it cleans with a wipe.
