Screws with a larger head were used. We didn't screw them all the way in, leaving about a 1/8" off the wall so the screw hole opening could slide on to the screw, and then I used a sharpie to color them black. The baskets can still fall off the wall, but it takes a little more effort with the larger head. Mine are about 3' off the ground on a corner, so they get a lot of traffic, and only one has fallen off.
No, not at all. They're made of metal and require a proper screw to secure them. If you really wanted to, you could drill a hole in the wall and screw through the pegboard.

They're fantastic because they're all distinct. We used two on our wall (there were only two elementary students) and one in another room.
I'm glad I read other reviews first, because I was prepared to use different screws to install these. To keep the bins from falling off, I used no-drill anchors and larger-headed screws. But, more importantly, they were the exact color and size I needed to complete my kitchen command center! For the look I was going for, I used chalkboard paper instead of the included labels. However, the labels were still used as a backup. I deducted a star due to the hardware, but I am still extremely pleased with the purchase and the item in general.
These are perfect for organizing my office, and I love how the file baskets are separated so I can use them however I want. The only thing that could make it better is if the lighting was a little brighter. Because the screws are small, I used a washed to prevent the heads from fitting through the hole.
When I unpacked these adorable organizers, I discovered that the labeling brackets were not centered. These are intended for public display. This deal must be centered and level if you want to zero in on your OCD organizers for customers. Would you put a crooked image on your wall? It takes away from the overall awesomeness of an otherwise adorable item. Sorry, but this is a failed quality control from a family of engineers and manufacturers.
I used zip ties to attach one of the three metal chicken wire racks to the side of a wire storage shelf unit. It was the ideal location for storing papers without causing damage to the walls. I hung the other two on a shelf by zip tying them together back to back. They are extremely durable and can stand on their own. These metal racks are fantastic; they were exactly what I needed in my exercise room for storing various papers.
These baskets are of poor quality. Each one is different in size, and the screw holes are dispersed throughout. As a result, installing them in a uniformed manner is impossible. Worst of all, the wire is strewn about haphazardly. When I tried to separate the baskets from one another to open the package, I sliced my finger open. I wouldn't put this anywhere where a child could touch it or come close to it. The wire is jagged and protrudes in a few spots.
If you don't break them while trying to pry them apart during packaging, you'll have a good product. Seriously, they cram them in so tightly that attempting to pull them out will almost certainly bend or crack something. If you use enough careful force to separate them, it's a good product, but if you're impatient or easily irritated, it's probably not worth it. Please don't pack them in this manner any longer. Also, consider wrapping them individually in recyclable (4) plastic.
These file baskets are well-made and durable. They have a nice appearance and can be used in a variety of settings. I haven't gotten them hung on the wall yet, but I've been using them anyway, and it's made a significant difference in terms of clutter reduction. I was undecided about whether I wanted three separate baskets or one large one, but I'm glad I went with the separate baskets. Now, depending on my needs, I can hang them vertically or horizontally.
