The Gorilla Line is perfect. Easy to install, it stays on the wall, the hardware was actually decent which is rare, and it looks great. I've tried three other crappy retractable clotheslines that failed for so many different reasons before trying this one. Only one thing is missing from this experience an ability to time travel back in time to the day when I bought the first piece of junk, so I could decide to choose this one instead ) And I have two of them now, maybe this is evidence of how much I love it. I believe that. In spite of its sleek appearance, the Gorilla line does not function properly. When a device is mounted on a wall, it has a hard time restricting. It took me several days to figure out I had indeed received a defective item, so I notified Amazon to send me another however I just installed the second one and still encountered the same issue. It is clear from my video that the line once installed does not retract on its own I had to push the line towards the wall.
