I find these to be a perfect solution for me. There is nothing I don't clip! For chip bags, I always keep them in the cupboard as for frozen veggie bags, I keep them in the freezer. I had so many of those plastic clips break that I was down to only 3 usable clips in just over a year! I can't tell you what a frustration it is to clip a bag with one only to have it shatter in my hand! The first thing I bought was a package of 20 clips! These are really sturdy, with only one piece and no pieces to break, and I think they might last a life time! Perhaps spring tenacity will be lost over time? The truth is that I don't know why I began doing that, but apparently somewhere in the back of my mind I thought I was being rational. The truth is, it The strap of my bra broke one day while I was shopping. Due to the fact that I'm a double-educated I didn't get a good view of it. When I realized I didn't have a safety pin with me, I went to the nearest ladies' room and saw if I could tie the ends together. It was then that I realized that clips could be used. By overlapping both ends of the strap, and by using two clips from the right and left, I was able to secure the strap. In order to make sure I didn't look ridiculous, I adjusted the opposite bra strap to the same height. So, I continued to shop while the clips remained in place for the next hour or so. These clips are quite powerful, as I mentioned earlier!.

They can be used for a variety of purposes. clip them on chip bags and seal freezer bags with them. I have seen my grandkids clip blankets and sheets to chairs to make tents out of them.
