A few years ago I heard about Rubbermaid being sold, and now it is clear. They probably believed cutting down on the material would save them money. There is much less strength in the basket, and it bends far more than my old one. I'm sorry to hear that another good company has fallen victim to the greed of its shareholders.

It is so cheaply made that the handles are flimsy. We are dealing with absolute garbage here. You can bend the handles of the laundry basket when you pick it up because of the poor quality of the handles.
