It all depends on the size of your hamper. Because they're quite large, I believe they'll fit most hampers.
I'm not sure how much it weighs in pounds, but I usually put about 50 pounds of dirty clothes in there.
Yes, you can wash this bag in the washing machine if you turn it inside out and tuck the drawstring inside. I've washed it several times and it's still in great shape.
The bags have a drawstring at one end that gathers the opening. They don't have any other positions available. To the extent that the laundry is bug-proof, it is the responsibility of the laundry's owner to ensure that bugs do not enter.

Take a look at the summary. To begin with, it irritates me greatly when people complain about them being too big and awarding fewer stars. You might want to learn to read because the measurements are clearly stated. Then there were the gripes about shoulder straps not being available. Why are you taking away stars because there is no mention of shoulder straps in the description or on the pictures? They're laundry bags, after all. They're washable and can hold dirty laundry. They're quite substantial. The colors are very appealing to me. The only reason I docked a star is because they're thin and stiff, and filling them with laundry makes a lot of noise. Aside from that, the price is reasonable, and the extra Wash Me print distinguishes them from other laundry bags.
Before these, I was wasting money by using a lot of garbage bags that would rip. These bags are exactly what I was looking for!.
It was still in the box when I took it out. It looks great and feels good, but I just used it for the first time with a small load, and the stitching at the bottom is unraveling! It now has a 3" hole and is separating even more. Hopefully, the second one will be free of this flaw. br>br>Update: 6/14/2018: I received a call from the company shortly after leaving a one-star review, apologizing for the issue. As a replacement, they offered to send another package. After a few months, I received a replacement pair along with a very nice (and surprisingly long) letter of apology. Although it took a long time (I believe the packaging came from China), I appreciate their concern and follow-through. As a result, my rating has risen from one to four stars. The bags are made by- the- The way they are constructed is quite attractive and durable.
So these are good bags, but after only about 6 weeks of use, the words have washed away. But, wait, aren't they supposed to hold the laundry? To increase sales, some marketing knucklehead slapped a screen print on them, which required very little thought. As a result, I gave them a one-point penalty.
My daughter travels a lot and complains a lot about having to carry her dirty laundry back and forth. I gave her one of the bags because I got two with my purchase, and she tried it out last night to see if it could handle her clothes, and she fit an entire hamper of clothes in it with plenty of room to spare. These will be a lifesaver for both of us because the black is so beautiful and the stitching is so professional. In addition, it is extremely durable. I've pulled and tugged on these and they don't seem to tear at all; I'm very impressed with their durability.
I rely on reviews for information and have never been let down until now. I can't believe the bag's poor quality, especially since I only received one instead of two. Anyone should be able to tell it's a piece of junk just by looking at it! They make a big deal about how thick the material is. It could be toilet paper if it was any thinner. br>It says "wash me" on it, but it isn't even close to the bag or the quality claimed by Amazon. br>Today, April 6th, I received an email from Homest asking how I liked their product and encouraging me to give them a call or send them an email if I wasn't satisfied. The only issue was that neither their phone number nor their email address were included. br>I can't help but wonder who is in charge of this organization. br>Now for the fun part! - They finally sent me a refund after two months and requested that I change my review. So here it is, with the "Good Part" added on top.
I purchased some Christmas presents in boxes that were just large enough to be difficult to wrap. These are the ones I used. I purchased tags to attach to the draw strings and the boxes fit nicely inside. AND, as a laundry bag, the bags can be used as a gift. These have made me very happy.
Check to see if they're made of the same stuff. These black Nylon bags left me disappointed. I placed two large orders: sixty red and sixty black. Every single one of the red ones is fantastic. They're water-resistant and made of a thick plastic that resists rips and liquids. However, I expected the black ones to be made of the same material as the white ones. When I first opened them, I noticed that they had three different types of material in them. One type, as seen in the photos, was regular clothing-like material. The other was more plastic, shiny, and thin (and it ripped after only 2 weeks of use). The third one is a little thicker. Two of the various types of black bags are not waterproof. Also, after only two weeks of use, two black bags ripped. I assumed the black bags were the same as the red ones because I ordered them in the same quantity but in a different color.
