Yes, it has been upgraded to a higher height to accommodate more clothing, while the bottom has been widened to allow it to stand steadily.
You could hang it, but the handles you use to carry the bag would be in the way. It does, however, have a pole at each corner that allows it to stand on its own.

Some people have complained that they aren't sturdy, but they aren't putting them together correctly. They're extremely durable! I carry everything in them.

I bought these gray ones for two of our bedrooms, and they're great for dirty clothes. To make the netting work properly, you must drape it all around (this isn't difficult). We lined each basket with an appropriately sized plastic garbage bag and draped it to the outside because these bags don't wash well (see photos below). (I apologize for the dark colors. ) When a clothes basket is nearly full, we remove the plastic bag, leaving the basket free and smelling much better than it would if it had been in direct contact with unwashed clothes. br>br>I almost forgot to mention: We live in a one-hundred-year-old building with a hundred-year year- Because we live in an old house with heavy doors that don't always swing all the way open as people walk through, each of our clothes baskets is safe behind its own bedroom door. If you live in a newer home or a university dorm, you may require a few extra inches of space behind your doors, or a different location entirely. These were a fantastic purchase for our home, well worth the price, and I highly recommend them.
Because I didn't want any letters printed on it, I went with the black option. It arrived exactly as described and in the photos that were advertised. br>Once assembled, it's a nice hamper that can stand on its own. Put the four poles/rods that came with it in place. They are small, thin, but strong rods that are used to convert this from a large tote bag to a stand-alone laundry hamper. The poles/rods are simple to put together and place, and each one fits into its own corner pocket on the inside of the bag/hamper. When the rods are fully inserted, a flap covers the top of each rod's pocket and is secured with velcro. The rods/poles will not move or bend as a result of this. If you want to fold the bag up and store it between uses, these poles are just as simple to remove. br>The bag is constructed of a nice, thick, and durable canvas. It appears to be extremely durable and, if necessary, would be relatively simple to wash in cold water. However, because it contains some cotton, I would not dry it. Simply hang or tumble dry without the use of heat. br>Despite the fact that the material is thick, Despite its strength, it is still lightweight and portable. Although, in my opinion, the straps on the handle could be much longer. But, since I don't intend to move around with mine, it's not a big deal for me; however, if you have to travel a long distance with it, especially when it's full, it's something you should think about. br>Overall, the most appealing aspect of this hamper is its incredible shape and size! This is small enough to fit along any wall, small closet, or tight space. It can be used almost anywhere! Despite this, it can still hold a lot of clothes. Baskets take up far too much room, especially if they aren't used all of the time. This can hold the same amount of laundry as a traditional laundry basket. The narrow, rectangular shape of this, on the other hand, is a lot more practical. AND, unlike baskets or other hampers, it can be easily disassembled and folded for storage. br>In general, I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good laundry hamper. br>If you are looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using.
It had to be small (because there wasn't much space in the bedroom) and hold 1 week's worth of dirty clothes. This is very small and sits discreetly next to her closet door; It would also fit nicely into the closet. It stores all of her dirty clothes until she has time to do the laundry. It's piled high on occasion, but most of the time it's just right. I carry the hamper to the laundry room because it is very light but sturdy. I'm very happy. I would order this again if daughter 2 requested a personal laundry basket as well. The hamper was simple to assemble, and nothing was bent, though they did include a note asking me to contact them if I had any problems.
Plastic coating on the inside of the basket is a nice feature.
I wasn't expecting much in terms of durability, but this thing is solidly constructed. It was simple to put together. If you've ever set up a tent, this should be obvious. It fits perfectly between my washer and dryer in the small space I have available.
It's just the right size for my small bathroom. I needed something practical that could also fit behind the bathroom door. This hamper is ideal; the handles are sturdy, and the mesh drawstring top prevents clothes from toppling out while being transported to the laundry room. If you have a small space, I highly recommend this product.
I wanted a hamper that didn't take up a lot of room and that I could possibly take with me when I moved. br>br>This is a great example of both. br>br>It's made up of simple rods that must fit into a slip in a specific way down the four corners. This is the way to go. It's simple to condense everything back to nothing. br>br>It also sits quietly in my room unnoticedbr>I was expecting it to say laundry on the side, which I didn't want, but it's just plain black, which I like. br>br>It has a drawstring netting on the inside and two long fabric handles, which I admit I scoffed at because "I'll never need those. " br>br>Let me tell you, even as a 6'1 30 year old man, I am a huge fan of those handles/straps. It's "loads" easier to just carry a full hamper up and down the stairs. br>br>I'm very happy with my purchase, and I'm sure you will be as well! br>br>The illustration merely depicts the location of the rods. I was initially perplexed because the rods can be accidentally slid down the loop opening rather than inside the lining, as shown in the second photo. The rods should be able to fit inside the small pocket.
When we get back from our camping trip, throw everything out. It has a drawstring at the top as well as handles.
