Jars are 1 1/4 inch in diameter and 3 1/4 inch tall. The case measures 14 34 inches wide, 8 34 inches deep, and 2 34 inches tall. I hope you find this information useful. It's a fantastic case; I have two of them and they're fantastic.
The jar has a diameter of 1 1/8". You'll need to figure out how long the pressed penny is. Thank you very much.

That's basically all there is to it! I really like how it turned out! I'm looking forward to filling it with all of my Swarovski crystals!.
Some of the other reviews were false. The jars did not arrive filthy, as some had speculated. Although someone said the jars were too small to display Swarovski crystal gems, they came with a black foam insert, which I found to be the perfect size. The glass is not thin and flimsy, and neither is the case or the latch. It was packaged in such a way that the glass didn't break in transit. The item has exceeded my expectations. I'm posting pictures of the item so that others can see it. which is exactly what I was hoping to see before making a purchase. I'm glad I bought it, but I did so "blindly" because the seller's description was lacking in details.
This is where I'm going to keep my gems for my diamond painting. I had enough room for all the colors because I had so many containers. I simply removed the inserts, and the containers are deep enough to accommodate a large number of them. I may require two or three containers for some colors, but 50 containers should suffice. I also like the case because it has enough space between the top of the gem cases and the lid for me to store all of my diamond painting supplies: A gem tray, a gem placement pen, wax, tweezers, and a lighted magnifying glass are all included in the kit.
In person, it appears to be beautiful, and the weight and hinge/locking mechanisms appear to be of good quality. The only reason I docked a star is because a couple of the clear containers inside had scratches on them, which were visible when light hit the case and may have harmed viewing quality. However, those are inexpensive to obtain and replace, so the overall value remains high. I'd suggest it.
The only issue is that the foam releases black fibers, which are difficult to remove from the lid. Wish there were more sizes and depths to choose from (the silver dollar box is shallower than the quarter size!).
I use these cases to display my charm and plate collections, and they are fantastic. They look nice and professional, and each little dish has its own nesting spot to keep it from sliding around the tray. the majority of the time - The charms and plates are perfectly positioned between the foam insert and the lid, ensuring that they stay in place. I started by purchasing three of these to see if I liked them and have since purchased a dozen more. I would strongly suggest it. br>br>Their only flaw is that they don't have a lot of options. I've only seen it with a few of the foam inserts, so I didn't think it was worth deducting a star for a rare occurrence - is that there are a few foam inserts that are slightly misshapen from time to time. For example, the top may be angled slightly so that the charms do not sit flush against the lid and move, or the bottom may be shaped strangely so that you must manipulate the insert to get it to sit flush.
The box was intended for our 5-year-old's rock collection, so what I'm about to say would have been removed anyway. The top window was broken when we opened the box upon delivery because it was made of glass. I didn't mind because this was the best box I could find for the job, but I didn't like the idea of a 5 year old having glass on top of it. If she prefers, I can replace it with Plexiglas, but for the time being, she doesn't seem to mind. The canisters inside, in my opinion, are a little too small. We can't put a few rocks into the canisters because they're too big, but not by much. For her collection, I'd like to find something that will accommodate a slightly larger rock.
The first one was just a broken latch that could have been used, but this one is completely shattered and filled with broken glass. This had to have been broken before being packaged because the package appeared to be in good condition. If you get a non-damaged case, the quality is good, but you might have to return a few first, so we're not sure if we'll order again.
