The washers go on the large bolt that runs between the mirror frame's sides and the upright side supports. They're there to keep the mirror from rocking back and forth.
It comes with a free stand and is a very sturdy product.
It does not rise in a straight line. It's always at a slight angle of 20 degrees or so. It's a good perspective, in my opinion. It swivels on its hinges, so you could adjust the angle, but with the weight of it, I doubt it would stay in place simply by tightening the screws.
It's on our house's carpet, and it's as solid as it gets.

The mirror stand had a huge hole in it, but the shipping box was undamaged. They put a hole in the product's packaging.
I bought this for my daughter, and she loves the large mirror, but there are some drawbacks. It lacks the soft padding where you can store your rings, so she keeps them in one of the three clear containers that came with it. She had two bottles of Bath n' Body Works Body Spray, which would only fit on one shelf but would prevent the door from closing due to the bottles' width. That disappoints me because it was one of the factors that influenced my decision to pursue this path. In the pictures, the unit is seen holding similar bottles. The area where post-back earrings are stored is awkward and difficult to use. So there are advantages and disadvantages to it.
It wasn't too difficult to put everything together. The only problem I had was that one of the screw holes didn't line up with another, so I had to rely on muscle power to get it to work. It wasn't a big deal because everything turned out fine and I was able to complete the task on my own. If you're looking for a jewelry organizer, I highly recommend this!.
This is my first armoire, and I am very pleased with it. However, there are a few things I wish I had considered before placing my order: 1. The necklace hooks are on the door side, which causes them to shift and slam against it when the door is opened and closed. 2. There is no internal mirror, which would be useful for applying makeup and checking jewelry without having to open and close the door and listen to my necklaces get thrown around by gravity. br>Apart from that, it's a lovely armoire that I put together myself, which was a little difficult but not impossible.
It's perfect because I use the ring area for my earrings, and it fits all of my jewelry, which I wear a lot of. I keep it in my bedroom, and the mirror aids in my morning preparations. It's my boyfriend's birthday, and I'm going out! We can also easily move it for spectacular views. ya know ; Overall, this was a fantastic purchase.
This jewelry cabinet is one of my favorite pieces in my home. I had no idea these were available, but they have made my life so much easier! br>My jewelry and cosmetics were always piled on top of my dresser in unattractive boxes and piles. This has made it easier for me to keep track of everything. When it first arrived in the mail, it didn't appear to be very sturdy, and the pieces appeared to be made of cheap wood. It looked much better after assembly and was significantly heavier than I had anticipated! It is extremely stable and does not easily topple over. br>My only criticisms are that it does a poor job of storing necklaces and that opening the cabinet can be difficult. Even though I only have a few necklaces, I find that they can obstruct the cabinet's closing mechanism. because they just dangle and collide with things It may be difficult to open the cabinet, but all you have to do is pull harder. I believe they also put that in the instruction manual that came with it (that you need to pull it open with more force to open), because I thought it was locked at first, but it turned out I wasn't pulling hard enough.
I did not receive any damaged or missing pieces, as shown in the picture. The back of the mirror has a bar to prevent the insides from spilling out if it swivels too far forward. I'm not sure if a frame around the mirror would keep fingerprints off the door, but it serves its purpose otherwise. Although it has a more modern appearance, it would still work in a more traditional setting.
We recently purchased a new bedroom set, and our old one had storage in the dresser's mirror, so I had a lot of stuff (jewelry, watches, pins, small packets of those rubber earring backs, my husband's tie clips, and other small trinkets) and nowhere to put it. This piece has so much storage space that I can't imagine ever being able to fill it, and it looks great in the corner of my room. It locks, which is a nice feature, even if anyone could just carry the whole thing out. I don't keep any particularly valuable jewelry in it; instead, it houses my day-to-day and weekend belongings. My husband is a perfectionist when it comes to quality, and when I asked him about it, he said, "It's really not bad!".
