The material is highly unlikely to be cotton, to begin with. The fabric feels thick enough, but does have a shine, and I feel as if it's rayon or polyester, but that doesn't seem to matter to me too much. This way, you don't have to worry about the It is then possible to feed the other ribbon through the opposite side going under the first side's ribbons and back through the loop under the ribbon continuing until you end up back where you started so each side has a loop from the opposite side. I wasted twenty minutes trying to figure it.

It is a lot thinner than usual

Despite a nice idea, this would have been even better if it had been made from a more durable material. The edges and ribbon holes aren't finished off, so if you wash them they will fray. However, they are a good size.

The overall result is hit and miss

The bags are very cute, and not at all sheer. Nevertheless, the drawstrings and other components of the bag are easily lost when the bag is opened. I had trouble opening any of them after they were open.
