Wrapping paper is the only purpose of this bag, and it does the job! As soon as I ordered it, I feared that it might be flimsy and flop around when I took the wrapping paper off. As far as I can tell, it doesn't do this. Our basement stairs are under the stairs where this (among other things) is stored. You can get in and out of it easily, and taking out the wrapping paper is easy. The plastic bins I've seen are heavy and would be difficult to move, which is why I recommend this over them.
The smaller compartment can accommodate a lot of paper rolls, so the larger compartment is sturdy and well-made. The author of this article has done an excellent job The product has been made. Having examined the pictures, it seems this organizer is well built and holding its shape, so I purchased it since it appeared to be somewhat rigid and able to stand up on its own. A sack is far less convenient than this one.
For my Christmas paper, I bought two more, because I like it so much. As you can see, I have a large supply of rolls of paper to make it stay up, but as other reviewers have stated, you need a lot to make it stay up. Even with all I stuffed in there, there is still room for more rolls and room to add bags or bows on top. It is made from canvas and is made large enough to hold many small objects. It's zippered top portion is big enough to hold bags, tissue paper, bows, etc. I think it wouldn't scrape or tear easily. I have all of my wrapping supplies neatly arranged together in one place now. The one I have is the one I love.

The fabric container would be perfect if it could stand on its own (like the pictures suggest), but the rolls are not sturdy enough to hold its shape, so I have to rest it on its side. Things I like it is tall enough to hold extra-tall rolls of wrapping paper. The pouch for tags, bows, and tape on top is also nice.
It's easy to fit about 15 rolls of gift tags of different sizes in this bag, plus some Christmas gift tag boxes in the top part, and there's plenty of room left to add even more. There is a lot of wrapping paper in the storage bag, so I like that I can view it. Because I need to keep a lot of my belongings in a storage unit, this is really helpful for me. You can even store bows in the compartment in the top if you wish, and scissors and tape can be stored there.
