I didn't have any odor issues, and they were extremely durable, transporting all of my clothes and shoes from Chicago to Houston without any broken straps or tears.

I was looking for IKEA bags to help me move my college-aged child into his new school. I was a little late to the party with those bags, so I ordered these with trepidation. Not once did I feel let down. They were large and sturdy, and they could hold a lot of weight. It's possible to wear the bag as a backpack. If I ever needed more, I would definitely recommend and buy these.
Read through the majority of the reviews on moving bag options. I've borrowed boxes and plastic bins in the past, but in these COVID/bedbug times, I figured it'd be best to buy my own and donate to a local shelter. I didn't want the backpack feature and was willing to pay more for a better product with two zippers on each bag, well-made seams, and sturdy, waterproof fabric. The smell, according to one reviewer, was an issue. Chemicals, in particular, make me very sensitive to smells. I put a bar of scented soap in each bag because it had a slight musty odor. I live in a small apartment and did not detect any odor after unpacking bags and leaving them in the living room for a few hours on a hot day.
They are extremely durable. strong!.
Because I move around a lot, I had high expectations for these. I usually use totes to pack my belongings when moving, but I thought these would be a nice addition that wouldn't take up too much space in between moves. 1. br>br> They collapse, making packing extremely difficult. br>2 The zipper only extends all the way down one side, making it difficult to fully expand. br>3 I've already had three zippers fall out, and when I get to my destination, I'll have to cut open the bag. br>br>It's essentially a waste of money. Keep the rest of your packing supplies to yourself. These have nothing to do with the price.
They are a little more expensive, but I believe they are worthwhile. I expect them to last her four years of college (God willing) and through her early professional years (but not into my basement). Nylon strap handles that arch on one side but extend all the way under the bag and up the opposite side to form the opposite side handle were a must-have feature for us. Not only does the nylon strapping support the tote's fabric, but it also supports the bag's load. If the handles are simply stitched into the fabric on a large tote, the fabric will rip. The strong zipper extends all the way to the floor, making packing and unpacking a breeze. The gray was a nice change from the IKEA totes' electric "notice me" blue.
In addition, it is extremely durable. I literally moved almost all of my child's belongings into these for her dorm room.
This is the only brand I use!! These are fantastic! They've come in handy for laundry, vacations, and other things. Most importantly, you must move. They have a significant amount of capacity. I'm sure I overpacked them in terms of weight, but they've held up well. Despite the fact that I had packed them with clothes While moving, I tossed the from the second floor. Without a doubt, I put these items to the test. I figured they'd last me until I moved, not until I threw them off the second floor, fully packed. I expected them to last only until the move, but they have lasted SO MUCH LONGER! & I'm going to put them through a lot more. They are the ones I would recommend. over and over. They are capable of withstanding attic conditions. Storage is available in the basement. The weather is dry and cold. In storage, the weather is humid. The weather in Pennsylvania is fickle. Because of the basement's humidity, I've lost a lot of things in storage. Attics that are free of moisture This stuff is incredible. Keeps clothes from fading in the sun when they're being stored. prevents moisture from entering. One of my zippers came undone. That's only because my son tried to cram more into the space available. He reasoned that if he used pliers to get a better grip on the zipper, he'd be able to close it. You'll be fine as long as you don't do that, lol.
For the amount of storage and quality you get, this is an incredible deal. These totes are both fashionable and durable. During a recent move, I used them to store my clothes. I haven't unpacked everything yet, but I love how these stack neatly. Neither I nor the movers were particularly gentle with these, and they are holding up just fine. I'm keeping them in my closet until I'm ready to use them. These can also be used as makeshift laundry bags or a place to keep souvenirs! There are so many options!.
