Questions & Answers

Do you fit in this ?

Unlike a real car, one of these will not fit in.

The plastic on these looks thick. What is its thickness?

The skin is very In addition, only one of the 12 I bought remained vacuum sealed, while the other six had pinholes in the

Is the air coming back into my bags because my bags are not closed well? How do I screw on the cap? Is there a trick I'm not thinking of?

It has occurred to me that the caps were not firmly fastened. You won't be able to seal it properly if it's not flat enough around the cap. As a general rule, I don't overfill the bag, but I do try to fill up the area under the bag so I can close it without much difficulty

Do you think this is going to fit a 3" Memory Foam full-sized ?

Whether it is big enough to fit a 3" memory foam full sized bed topper I am not sure, but the Jumbo bag is 30X40 Inches big For a large bag, it should be 32X24 inches, and for a medium bag it should be 2X20 inches. It is my sincere hope that this helps.

This is a real comparison of 4 brands
3/5

In addition to this set, I bought three other brands to see which ones worked best for storing a mountain of sheets. Amazon Basics, Vacwell, Accenter, and the actual Space Saver bags are all the ones I tested. I'll give you an idea of There are three Amazon basics you should know There are a lot of good bags to choose from, but that's where the pros end. They're all folded into tiny squares, so you have to open them completely to determine their size. The sliders to close the zipper don't grip and leave a bunch of air spaces. The stops at each end of the zipper are too flat and do not hold. Many of the caps are hard to replace, with threads threading crooked when reinstalled, especially if the valve ring sinks in when the bag is sealed In the event that they go on incorrectly, they push on the foam gasket and allow air to enter. ONE OF THE WORST CONS Even with 12 bags that were used correctly, sealed completely, and not overfilled, all but 2 blew back up at least partially over night, and several filled back up completely within one The damage or holes I found did not seem to be present There is no way to keep them The bottom line is Plastic is thick and of good size. However, if the seal doesn't hold, it is of no use. In general, the following comparison applies There was some static on all four brands, as there is on plastic and There are some pressing issues with the sliding clips on all 4 brands. I got better results closing the zippers with a ziploc bag using my fingers. In order to fit that one into a Vacwell I had left over, I had to remove it. Having used a vacuum, I did not attempt to test any of the pumps from the different Each of them looks such a basic, cheap plastic pump that would be perfect for traveling. If you want to use Amazon bags, you'll definitely need it because you'll have to constantly pull the air back out. You are guaranteed They also claim to offer a lifetime guarantee, saying that if any bag doesn't stay inflated or doesn't keep its seal, they will replace it for free on their website. I don't know if they actually honor that, but they were the only ones to offer it. The caps on the Space Savers go on very easily if it is legit, that alone is worth the price I paid they are very durable and I like the color. It is simply a matter of dropping it on the threads, giving it a spin, and it closes by As the caps are small and cover only a small part of the sealing ring, they only cover the center part It seems like the Space Saver clips work a little better and stay on better, but they seem to fall off far too easily. The fingers I used were more effective than the mouse, and I was able to see if any spaces were open. The bottom line is this In comparison to the Vacwell and Accenter brands (also on Amazon), the Accenter brand was a bit cheaper and performed averagely, so they'll likely be adequate for travel and temporary work. In case you are planning to store linens or clothing for several years, or to use them for bedding and reseal them regularly, I'd (literally) suggest Space Saver bags because of their tight seal, ease of access, and convenience. Caps should be closed, and inflation should be guaranteed. It's tough to describe how awesome vacuum bags are for overhauling crowded closets, maximizing tight spaces, and bringing order to chaos. Now that I've done it, I wish I'd done it sooner and can't express how much better my life is. Amazon Basics are sadly not recommended at all, as they just cannot keep air out of them. Count them. The picture shows 19 (yes, you read that right. I had crammed these in any available corner of 3 bedrooms and the laundry room, but they now fit in my tiny hall closet with enough wiggle room to make it easy to get them out and in. To store my winter blankets, I used the medium and large bags, and to store my massive comforters, I used the jumbo bag. In my honest and unsolicited review, I have paid for these items myself, I did not receive a discount, and these are my own purchases.

The items were damaged when they were As a result of being repackaged, the product was damaged

The slashes on three of the bags are on the one side of each bag, all in different places. Here are some images. One appears to have opened a bulk container of these with a razor and refilled it They were packed in a box. Slices were not in the bag they were in. I am out of luck if I want to get a replacement before my trip since Amazon will not replace or refund the bags until I send them back first. There is yet another reason to get your groceries locally rather than from They are threatening to go viral on social media if they refuse to post this review. I wish you the best of.

We are committed to quality
5/5

Previously we had Ziplock brand cans that all had tears at the seams. I purchased these cans to replace them. Amazon bags seem to be made of better plastic and should be able to hold up better over time. They only thing I would change is the square base on which they are placed and the ability to fill the top half of them In lieu of this, they are flat and have to be stuffed at an angle. Although I was able to fit a king comforter and two king size pillows in one bag, I had to fold that comforter in half. My purchase has saved me so much space and I am happy with it.

Quilts can be stored in this cabinet well
5/5

They will be used to store blankets and quilts for me. This is an appropriate use for them. In each bag, I stored one blanket or quilt. Despite the fact that I had my vacuum with me, I did not use it to remove the air from This product comes with its own manual pump which is easy to use and works By compressing my quilts, I was able to save a significant amount of space. Having these bags enabled me to store my quilts without taking up a lot of space, while I was also able to prevent dust from collecting on them. I should note Having used this product for about 2 weeks, I can attest to its effectiveness.

Don't let them get to you
3/5

You are wasting your time with these. Spending money you don't have is a waste. There are some terrible ones here. It is one of the worst purchases I have ever made. I have never seen anything worse than this in my entire life. My money was wasted since I had to go buy different ones, and I couldn't even use those. My next bag was a different one. As soon as I sealed that one, the seal began to rip. Those are the ones that I recommend you stay away from. I would not recommend this.

One purchased a two pack of 12 bags, and only one stayed vacuumed sealed. In addition, seven bags had holes in them - the plastic was very thin, so the product will not be purchased.

I liked the product
5/5

I liked how user-friendly it was. I packed enough sweaters, shirts, and jeans for the entire trip in a single suitcase by using three bags. Putting some of the items in a dryer did remove some of the compression and wrinkles, but I felt it was an acceptable tradeoff There's no electricity.
