Questions & Answers

If I set up the moth trap quickly, when can I expect the moths to appear?

It is common for me not to notice them in the trap just a few days after I set it out, and I guess I must have already caught every one. It has slowly collected about 10 moths over the course of about a week. After this, it becomes a party place for the moths and more and more of them are caught every day in the trap. It's been about two months, and the trap is pretty full (50% covered with dead moths on the sides and pretty full on the bottom) and I get out a new one. As much as I think this is it, I have caught them all, but they keep sneaking into my The only food products I notice very rarely are ones that are spoiled by moths, so I don't know where they are coming from, but at least the traps are cutting down on food waste by up to The traps are very, very worth the cost.

You can use these to kill or attract Moths are not present in our area, only weevils. ?

Only works on pantry moths and can be found at any hardware store

The product is supposed to work on carpet beetles, right?

I am not interested in that made specifically for pantry moth pheromones and attracts only male types of There has never been a carpet beetle in these traps in all the time I've had them.

Is this food safe to eat before it expires or can I store it for later?

The expiration date does not appear to be there. Each is packaged in an envelope made of foil. To which I would just like Work of the traps. In both cases, the pantry and the freezer have proven to be very successful You might have a closet trap.

I have found these to be effective
5/5

Here's the first thing you need to do. Watch the damn video. It contains some important information. As a result, if you do not watch the video, at least take out the wax paper from the sticky inner surface in order to catch The storage containers that we used for our dog food in our utility room developed a bad infestation of the Following the video, I ordered two of these and placed one in the kitchen and one in the utility room. It is true that both traps are catching, but it is also true that the util room is catching If I want to finish them off, I'll probably have to move the food storage to the garage. By the way, I find they prefer Purina Dog Chow over Kibbles and Bits.

Moths in pantry love this product
5/5

Since about 08/2020 (currently 11/2020), we've been dealing with a horde of pantry months. This is the second of these hung in the house (one in the pantry and one above the kitchen cabinets) I have one in the garage, and one at the other end of the house. The months from the oven and bird food in the garage have found their way into the house I hate it. The pheromones in the trap only attract males, but that's fine 50 to 0% is better than 0 to 4%. It is said that the traps last two to three days This is the third month. Mine has been up for a little more than a month now. 12 dead moths on the first day, and the maggots have eaten many more during the week They appear to be attracted to the traps as well as getting stuck in them! No moths, cocoons, or larvae are visible because of the winter. Dr Killamoth came to our aid after we went through a lot of food and cleaned shelves, walls, floors, etc. very well to remove the eggs, and the traps are slowly taking care of the rest. We are grateful!.

The moth traps on this page are real! They are the best moth traps I have ever seen! Having a severe pantry moth problem in our kitchen, we set out 3 traps and they worked like charm! Only 1/2 hour later, there was no sign of any moths
5/5

This picture was taken just 15 minutes after we put out the traps. Now that I know to keep one on hand, I'll keep them in stock.

It's all about the traps! Following the directions is important! It is easy to use and these pantry pest (moth) traps are effective! There is no bait piece to drop into the trap, they don't have a phermone bait piece
5/5

In the glue, there are phermones. You need only open the packet, pull the cover off of the glue trap, fold it up to form a tent, then place the glue Once you have seen the glorious collection of moths that you killed, collapse it down flat and toss it away after you have marvelled at it! It is important that you The steps are below. Please follow them! You will find directions explaining where the best traps are to be placed. In their explanation of how the traps work they explain that it takes a few days for the scent to not be overwhelming, so the scent can work faster. This is a bit of a reread from some time ago I've lost track of You might still see moths fluttering around, ignoring the traps if you space them adequately apart, etc. There is no attraction to the pills, so only the males are attracted to the pills. When the male moths have been trapped, the moths can no longer produce offspring. It is best to let the traps work for a few minutes. In summary, all you have to do is follow the directions, and you will have a great experience!.

You won't believe how well these pantry moth traps For a while now I have been having pantry moths, but they are getting really bad recently, so I thought it would be wise to This experiment had been done previously with Professor Killamoth (love that name!) Before, my mother had used a homemade (version) clothes moth trap prior to the one I have now
5/5

It was very proactive of them to send out an email with details about how the pheromones work and how to use the clothes moth traps, which was hugely In my closet, they did an amazing job of taking care of clothes moths. Professor Killamoth's pantry moth traps were equally effective, and I only placed one trap in my pantry. The email they sent me instructed me to use only one trap. A few days later, there were numerous moths in the trap and very few flying around (the ones that were flying around were probably females, and the ones in the trap were males since the pheromones only attract male moths, which stopped There were no more moths flying around after a few more days. I can certainly attest to the fact that these pantry moth traps work admirably.

It does the job
5/5

We have had long-term issues with pantry moths in our kitchen, and these Professor Killamoth Pantry Moth Traps have been very effective in eliminating the pests. Providing an attractant pheromone is built directly into the adhesive material, so all you need to do is open the wrapper, then fold and assemble the I have used them for about 6 weeks and am still finding moths, but there are substantially fewer. I did not use insecticide, but it does catch a lot of moths without any help. Perhaps this is happening elsewhere in the house outside of the kitchen, so ultimately we'll figure out where it's coming from. In the meantime, we are down to perhaps just a few percent of where we used to be. For your information. As per the instructions, not more than one trap should be used per pantry cabinet to keep the moths from getting.

There is no doubt that these traps work! I love how easy it is to put these traps to work
5/5

You can fold the clear film into a tent and put it in the pantry or a cabinet after removing the clear film to reveal the sticky lining. Then get going! The pantry moths I killed this summer alone number in the thousands. Sunflower chips were invaded by the insects in a large, covered container However, the traps caught them soon after they were laid. They are available in six packs, which is convenient The situation is particularly serious during heavy infestations. Prof. Killamoth, I appreciate your kind words! I love the name (great one, by the way!).
