There is no room in my kitchen and it is very small. For years I had a fruit bowl kept on the counter because I had no space in the cabinets. Once, it struck me that my kitchen could be neater if there were no dishes on the counter. Also, my three and six year old were unable to reach the fruit bowl and they often asked me to get fruit for them. We bought this organizer to hang in the garage so we can store dog leashes (we have 2 dogs), harnesses, travel water bowls, etc. It offers plenty of room to store any and all dog-related items. My husband and I actually bought two and will hang the second one on our lanai so we can store sunblock products, bug spray, and goggles, etc. The basket size is perfect for storing some bigger items, while at the same time not being overly large. My boyfriend and I were looking for a way to keep our outdoor pet supplies organized. You can easily store a dozen tennis balls in the large compartment! Although I would have liked to do more testing, this is the only time When you're careful, you might be able to fit 8 in the smaller compartment, but it can hold up to 6 easily. There are three hooks in each corner, which I love. By using this hook, I can hang the harness on the wall without it rubbing. The accessories and clothes don't clash, so it's great for my boys' dress up. It is great to see baskets of such size. I should mention that he used anchors and his own screws to build a stronger hold (don't forget we have boy's fans). The versatility is one of the things I love about it.
