It is unclear what you are asking about the chrome having a coating on it. In simple terms, chrome is the coating on top of steel. I like these hangers because they are substantial and they have a good bright chrome finish. Over the chrome there is no coating. If I needed more, I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I hope this is helpful
There is a 7 ft rod full of clothes and has been holding it up. I haven't weighed myself.

As for the wall There were two screw mounts, one with an 8mm root diameter and one with a 12mm length. The number five.
