Great solid wood, perfect for my armoire; I stained it with a little Tung oil for appearances, but it wasn't necessary. The natural wood grain was brought out by the stain. Much less expensive than the flimsy bars sold by big box retailers (Home Depot, etc. ).
Due to my own faulty measuring, this was a little too long for my closet. It was simple to shave the ends down. After that, you'll have a great closet.
It was of good quality, but I discovered too late that I could get a similar rod for a fraction of the price at Menards.
