It is made of very strong metal and is beautifully finished in white. Drilling holes prior to Shelf holes are drilled into the ground. The support boards were 12" wide, white and I purchased one of these boards at one of the big retailers and asked them to saw off 1 foot to make a shelf that was 3" wide. You have a great looking site. The product is good, and I would buy it.

I was surprised by how well it went! tried to keep a 7 foot closet clothes pile from collapsing since nothing could keep the weight! Using this product has saved the closet pole a lot of time and effort! You can't go wrong with it!
