Is this going to be a one-time thing? piece?

There are two end pieces and a rod, not three. It was simple to put together and looks great.

How big of a rod should I get to fit this bracket?

Ginger provided me with a matching rod. In a wet environment, it's not a good idea to use different rods with different metal coatings because galvanic corrosion will occur. br>br> br>br> br>br> br>br> br> br> br

Is it just the rod or do the brackets come with it?

I placed an order for this - It's only the rod that's causing the issue. I was perplexed as well. Separate brackets should be ordered separately.

Is it possible to shorten the 72" rod to fit my 64" wide shower?

Yes, it is possible to cut it. I did.

Two screws secure a circular plate to the wall at each end of the shower curtain rod. The support bracket is then screwed into threads around the outside of the circular plate, hiding the screws that hold it to the wall. In addition, an o-ring is used to seal the connection between the mounting bracket and the shower curtain rod. ring. The brackets have a beautiful finish, and the installation as a whole is stunning. This is a shortened version of a longer article. Ginger brackets (sold separately) are used to support a one-piece shower rod that fits perfectly. It's such a simple luxury to not have to drag curtain rings over a slip joint like most other shower rods. You don't realize how nice it is until you have had the opportunity to experience it. This rod's metal (it's actually a tube-shaped rod-shaped rod-shaped rod-shaped rod-shaped rod-shaped rod-shaped rod- so "pipe" is a more accurate description) is thin enough to be cut with a metal tubing cutter (for more precise cutting) or a hacksaw (for less precise cutting). The ends must be held in place by brackets attached to the side walls. This isn't a tension rod, so keep that in mind.

This shower curtain rod is one of my favorites. It's tastefully done and instantly improves the appearance of my bathroom. Ginger braces were also purchased. Despite the fact that I'm not exactly a weekend warrior, mounting the brackets and installing the rod was a breeze for me. I even cut the rod myself with a $15 cutter from the hardware store, and it was a breeze. I purchased the chrome rod and brackets; however, I have another bathroom with nickel fixtures that I will purchase the same rod and brackets in the nickel finish for.
