The 1" model did not hold 1" dowel rods, so I'm not sure what the size Despite the hassle of returning and ordering a 1 1/4" size instead, these shoulder straps are suitable for holding at least 25 pounds, and probably even more.

There are many different types of stainless steel

A sturdy product. It is easy to install. The real difference here with this product is that it actually says stainless steel in the description but is really chrome plated steel, unlike so many other products that Amazon sells. It is made of lightweight but sturdy materials. They hold any weight of clothes that you can throw at them. The fit and finish isn't great. The welds are a little loose.

The size of the image is incorrect

Neither of the two openings on each side of the shower curtain rod allows enough room to insert the ends of a shower curtain rod. I would have returned it, but didn't feel like dealing with the hassle, so I hope.

I was able to fit a 1" rod There is a diameter of 1 in the inside

There are 17 inches in height. A piece of stainless steel with a diameter of 1 inch fit perfect. Keeping the rod steady is accomplished by tightening the screw. It was a bit worrying to me that it was 1 inch diameter since I had a steel rod with a 1 inch diameter.

It appears your closet rod will limit the amount of space you have if it is I used it with a 1 and it gave me a lot of strength. Rods for closets that measure 25 inches in diameter. This is because the other end is not on another wall, so the set screw keeps it in place. The information I was looking for was found here.
