As soon as the item was received, it was defective. It is possible to use the item even though the defect is such that I would have to wait for a replacement, but I did not wish to bother with returning the item. A defect existed in the cushion of the device which was designed to prevent the metal door assembly from resting atop the door and scratching it. Despite the cushion being correctly placed on the assembly, it did not secure properly. The metal assembly rests directly on the door instead of on the cushion because the metal assembly comes into direct contact with and rests on it.

I love how hearty it is! This one is much stronger than the ones I had before with hooks that couldn't hold up to winter coat weight. Is good at what she does! Due to the short hooks on the top, it is not recommended to attach it to a door that is frequently opened or to a door in close quarters when you do not know there is an object up front. I like the way it looks too.

The picture I have looks nothing like the one I have. As far as my needs were concerned, I imagined that the apartments would be larger and more spacious. In its current state, I will need to order a second one since this one is so small. Despite that, it feels solid and not flimsy at all.

As of now, it seems to be going well. When we first tried it, it didn't fit on the first door, but because the door is all crooked in an apartment, it was just too large. It works perfectly on a door because we found one to attach it to. I no longer have to deal with my sisters' hats getting scattered everywhere, and it no longer makes our hats jiggle when we open and close the door. If anyone of your doors has trouble opening or closing, make sure you check it before buying since you do not want to be stuck with a door that won't close when the rack is attached to EDITOR'S NOTE A price increase has made me consider purchasing another one, although I was planning on buying one. So I'll wait until it goes down again. I bought it for $13 originally, so I think I'll wait a little longer. The price is a bit too high at $26.
