If you modify it and mount it on the wall, it's a great product for the type of belts shown
4/5

It's a great product now that it's been modified to be a wall mounted belt rack; if you use it by the hanger instead of mounting it, I'm sure it'd be difficult to keep it balanced, and I wouldn't like it nearly as much as I do now that it's been permanently mounted. br>br>I removed the hanger in my case, which was actually quite simple - Simply press down on it with a small amount of force, and it will pop out and through the bottom. I carefully drilled two holes through the back of the rack and screwed it into the closet wall after removing the hanger. br>br>This belt rack is ideal for belts with the type of slide-through buckle shown in the advertisement and in my photo. However, if you're concerned about your buckles getting scratched, this is probably not the best belt rack for standard belts. Standard belt buckles will be loose and will rub against one another. br>br>If you're really concerned about your buckles, I'd recommend using every other slot instead, because if you use every slot, some of the buckles will likely rub against each other. I had ten belts to hang, so I had to put certain belts in specific places to keep them from rubbing against each other. Even though it's a 14-belt rack, 8 belts would be the ideal number. br>br>My recommendation is to buy the two pack if you have more than 8 belts to keep looking nice and have the space. I was able to fit ten belts on mine, but as I previously stated, I had to arrange the belts in a specific way to do so. br>br>I would also recommend making this into a wall-mounted belt rack.

Simple buckle hanging solution in the "Western" style
5/5

The Tenby rack appealed to me because it can accommodate belts with any buckle size. br>I needed a belt rack that could hold extra-large belts. Belts with large buckles, including traditional frame/prong buckles, large frame/prong buckles, and large plate/hook buckles. br>The last two can be classified as "American Western," that is, they are set in the United States. , and "cowboy style" buckles that are nearly impossible to hang from other belt rack styles. br>I altered the Tenby Living Belt Rack to fit my belt collection. br>Because I didn't want belts hanging in my already crowded closet, I customized the Tenby rack to fit my needs. br>I removed the hanger and drilled two holes through the rack to protect the wall, then mounted it behind a bedroom door with a board as a backer. br>I decided not to put the rack in the closet because it would take up too much space. br>All of my belts are visible at a glance, and when the door is open, they are hidden from view.

It's affixed to the wall
4/5

It's a steal at only $8. However, I didn't like how it hung like a close hanger, requiring you to balance it. So I used a hack saw to cut off the two pins that the hook rotated around, drilled two small holes, and attached it to the wall with a 6 screw. It now has a much cleaner appearance and is much easier to use.

However, unless you want to constantly rearrange belts in order to maintain perfect balance and avoid tipping, this is not a viable option
3/5

I was hoping for something that didn't require wall mounting, but unless you want to constantly rearrange belts to maintain perfect balance in order to avoid tipping, you'll have to wall mount, as several reviewers have. "May have to balance," according to the description. That's deceiving because if it's even slightly out of balance, the whole thing tips horizontally. I was looking for something smaller as well, and this one is almost 1 pound. Longer than 5 feet. I will be returning because it does not work for me.

Because the bottom of the center coat hook is on a swivel, nothing stops it from swinging up and down
3/5

The concept was fantastic, and the product appears to be of reasonable quality, but the execution was disastrous. Because you may want to position this rack on the coat rack either straight out or along the coat rack rail, the coat hook itself turns, which is fine. br>br>However, if you look at the bottom of the coat hook, you'll notice that the piece that connects the coat hook to the rest swivels around freely rather than locking into place when the coat hook is opened. A feeble attempt was made to stop the swiveling piece from swinging by adding two plastic tabs, but it failed miserably. br>br>What this means is that unless you keep this rack perfectly balanced at all times, one end will always be up in the air. If you put two belts in the same position on either side, but their weights are different, one side will go up in the air. This is far too much effort for something that is supposed to help you organize and save time. br>br>I already have something similar, but it is metal, and the bottom of the coat hook does not swivel at all. This makes it easier to use because you don't have to match weights and positions as precisely as you would with a belt organizer.

The image is not accurate
3/5

I can't say it's not what it appears to be, but the image is deceiving. It depicts belts tucked into the holder with ease. The buckles on the belts are similar to those on a webbing belt, where the buckle clips on the end of the belt; however, my belts are not like that. The buckles are connected to the belt by a loop that runs through the buckle. The belt's thickness at the buckle will be doubled as a result of this. The belt will not fit in the space if it is twice as thick as it is now. In short, you'll need a belt that's not your average to get this to work properly. It also requires that the belt weight be balanced in order for it to remain horizontal. If you have an odd number of belts to hang, you're on your own. When it comes to ties, however, it works quite well.
