I was hoping it would be. I tried to use it, but I wasn't able to do so. I consider the hooks for something like a ladies scarf to be too small. As soon as I tried to put some scarfs on it, the hooks were buried under the cloth. Having strapped the hanger to the clothes pole, it was not simple to remove the hanger when I needed to reach an item on a back hook.
