Questions & Answers
Plastic has been used. It works well for ties but not belts. The design isn't suitable for belts, even if it is made of metal.
I'm not sure where they're made, but despite the fact that they're plastic, they're well-made and built to last. All of the rotating mechanisms are in good working order.
Each one measures approximately 5 inches in diameter. 5" tall
Yes, as long as they're not too bulky.

He used to just loop them all through a close hanger, but this is a lot better. It comes fully assembled and does a good job of "holding" the ties in place. They don't just slide through the prongs by themselves.
I bought this rack for my husband, and his exact words when he saw it were, "Oh no dear, I wish you had talked to me first; I need the cedar ones. " They're the only ones who can get things done. "Wow, I really like this, perfect for my ties," he says after a few days. "This guy, who only wanted cedar hangers, has been raving about this tie holder for the past week. " He likes how it lays flat while still allowing him to see his ties. He adores how he can get one tie in the middle and have all of his ties stay put. He likes it in general. This is an excellent item.
As you can see in the photo, the tension clip is on top of both sides of the tie rack, as it should be because gravity will pull the tie down. One of mine, however, has the clip on the bottom, causing the heavy tie to rest on the weaker tension clip rather than the longer, more durable bar. I thought there might be a way to rotate the arm, but there's a plastic stop that runs along the eccentric, so that's not possible. br>br>Long story short, one of these is only good for holding ties on one side; fortunately, it came with two, and the other one is correct. br>br>I haven't had any issues with this tie rack falling apart; that was my initial concern, but it hasn't fallen apart after loading and unloading ties every day for three weeks, so my worries are mostly alleviated in that regard. br>br>UPDATE: Ipow contacted me almost immediately after I posted the first review, and they are sending me a replacement tie rack. Although there was a slight language barrier, it was clear that they wanted to resolve the issue I was having. This product, in particular IPOW, is something I would strongly recommend! Thank you very much!.
It's possible that things will get better, but it's also possible that things will get worse. However, the customer service is outstanding! Everything will be fine. It does the job, but not particularly well. I was in favor of returning them, but my husband had had enough of shopping. The hangar is crammed with ties, and he doesn't even have that many. The plastic has a cheap feel to it, but it appears to be working well. Updated: The date is June 12th. After I posted my review, the seller contacted me and apologized for my less-than-satisfactory experience, offering me a replacement product or a refund. Wow! I was blown away by it. That's exactly what they did. No other seller has ever contacted me in such a manner. As a result, I would strongly advise this vendor. It could be a good product with a couple of tweaks (which they may have already made, I'm not sure).
First and foremost, as an Amazon Prime member, I enjoy shopping there. This tie rack does exactly what it says it will do: it stores your ties in a space-saving manner. in a cost-effective and efficient manner The ties are arranged in a way that allows easy viewing of each one while also keeping them from falling to the floor. I will admit that I have a few cheap, novelty ties that are thin, which means they don't hold their shape as well as the nicer ties, but none of them have fallen off the rack. The rotating hangar allows you to easily access your ties before rotating it back to store them. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and would strongly suggest it.
I bought this for my sons because I figured that if the rungs weren't all stacked vertically, it would be easier to get to their ties. True, but my sons would rather keep it all vertical rather than move it to the opposite diagonal positions to save space in their closets. I hadn't considered how much more room it would take up. The fact that these tie hangers could be hung diagonally was a selling point for me, but it turned out that my sons didn't care. If I had to do it all over again, I'd choose a tie hanger without the adjustable positions because changing the positions feels like it might break it because it's a little difficult to adjust and it kind of clicks into the various positions. (You have the option of going straight up and down, slightly diagonally, or even more diagonally. ) ) It stays firmly in your chosen position, which is a good thing, and it hasn't broken, but it gives me the creeps. These were a good deal at $10 for two of them!.
Garbage for the masses. A couple of belts were instrated, and weeks later, they were permanently damaged. Ties will not fit unless they are folded in half and, guess what, they will have major creases. Chinese garbage that doesn't work. Once you've had them hanging for a few weeks, there are no refunds. Save money by tossing your belongings into a pile.
My husband had an automatic tie rack that rotated, but it took up an entire square foot of closet space, so it had to go! I bought these because they're flat, and even though the weight of his ties is too much for one of the racks to stay up, it's still sturdy and attractive, and I like the holder that sits above each tie to keep it in place. I slid the rack down to see if any ties fell off, but none did. Ties would occasionally fall off his fancy automatic tie rack as it rotated.
