While I'm not sure of the exact capacity, I'm storing many electronic accessories in one and I have DVDs and CDs in the other and they're both still holding up nicely. It is a very sturdy chair. It holds quite a bit, though I'm not sure you could store anything as heavy as weights or something extremely heavy. As well as the look, I am very happy with it. It looks almost as if they are made of wood from afar. There have been a few people asking me where I got my sashes.

When I was searching for a place to keep my small electronics, I was a little unsure about this box. Boxes like this one have a wood look to them. The results are as good as I expected or even better. I would describe the material as something that looks like an oil tablecloth but is not quite like that. Overall, it works great and if you want a woodsy look, this box is perfect. It says not to submerge in water, but if you want to clean it, you can wipe it down with a damp cloth.
