With the Polar Whale Christmas Tree Mat, you can prevent water, liquid spills, debris and tree stand scratches from damaging your floors. A premium tree mat tray is included with this purchase.

Designed to keep your precious flooring dry and protected from common tree stand floor scrapes, this non-scratching floor holds up well under wet conditions. There is so much style and elegance to this mat that it can be left uncovered (although it also looks amazing with a tree skirt). With a raised protective lip of 1" tall, this product is approximately 28" x 28" (exterior dimensions).

Besides not scratching floors, the high density foam exterior is strong enough to handle messy messes, while the polymer base liner is tough and durable. This tray was designed with a tall raised lip to keep overflow spills in at all times. It can hold nearly a gallon of spills.

A high density, waterproof material that is anti-rattle, anti-slip and easy to clean has been used to make this mat. An extra layer of protection and stability is provided by an inside bottom that features a hard black polymer lining.

There is no real strength to it as it appears

I didn't have time to use it because it came late (USPS). I returned it since the package was thin and not very heavy, so I would not have been satisfied with it for the price.

The bag is light and not too large

Pads made of waterproof material are typically heavier and larger than those made of nonwaterproof materials. My wide plank wood floors are very expensive, so this will definitely keep them protected. A great feature of this product is the raised lip around the edge. The first time I inserted the plastic pad, I was unsure if I was supposed to insert it under the foam portion or not.

I highly recommend this book! We found this product to be effective in protecting Didn't intend to do this but overwatered the tree and large amounts of water spilled out of the tree stand

While I wiped up as much as I could, the mat managed to keep the water out without damaging the floor. I am very happy with this.

Syrafoam is overpriced and definitely not worth the price. As it was, I simply couldn't find another tree mat in time, but had I been able to, I definitely would have.

The bottom of the piece is very thin

There was more of a rubber bottom than I expected. A thin piece of material makes up the bottom of the piece. The rubber mat I imagined this to be would be more practical. However, this method does work.
