This is a great idea. I bought one for my son's family and I liked it so much once I saw it that I bought one for myself as well. It's so nice to see the simple red and white stars of Christmas that glow before presents are opened. Keep in mind that it does not have a hole to simply fit around a You place it under the tree (and on the stand). Perhaps it is not waterproof enough, but it seems that it would protect to some degree the floor or table top.

It was better than I expected. It's probably because I forgot to read the description so I did not realize this set includes lights that use 3 AAA batteries. This is a fantastic product for the price. Get it, people.

It is reversible and it is absolutely gorgeous. I love the stars with the changing light, as well as the red. I would definitely recommend it!.

There's a lot of bang for your buck. I'm impressed with the amount of light it emits, but it's not unnecessarily bright. The leaves of the tree are pretty.
