They can be bent, to be sure. The size is about the same as you'd expect to find in Christmas ornaments. When I bend the shank to secure hand blown glass ornaments I make, I use a small pair of needle nose pliers. I also noticed that the same ones are available in the Holiday Decorating section of my local Walmart. It's quick and simple, but it'll set you back about $5 more than you'd pay on Amazon.
Yes. They're a lot more powerful than standard hooks. These, unlike the thin hooks, will not bend when heavy ornaments are attached.
Yes, it's a smidgeon shy of two inches.
There is no canister in this house. They're in a small plastic bag that's been divided by ten. All of the bags are bundled together into a larger ziplock bag.

Ignore my review if you assumed these tiny hooks wouldn't bend to help them stay on Christmas tree branches. However, I usually pinch the tops of my hooks to make them cling to the tree better, which these don't do. It would take pliers to bend them because they are made of a thick and sturdy metal. br>br>Whenever I bumped into a branch or my pets walked too close, the top hook was too short and the ornaments fell. Because my ornaments are plastic, this was not a major setback; however, if I had glass ornaments, I would have been devastated. I ended up turning the hooks upside down and spiraling the branch into the hook just to keep them in place. I made it work, and they turned out to be lovely, but I wish I'd known how long they'd last before I bought them.
I've had a lot of mixed results when it comes to ordering low-cost imports. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The hooks are simple to attach to the ornaments, hang securely, and are attractive. I wish I had concentrated solely on these- The Kurt Adler ornaments were nearly impossible to attach to the tree and ornament. I only wish they were available in a shorter drop-down version. I was aware that these were a little longer, but a variety (especially for smaller ornaments) would be nice.
Much better than the hooks found in local big box stores.
I bought these to have on hand for holiday decorating, and I've already used them to hang snowflakes from a light fixture in my kitchen and on my tree. These items add a special touch to your project; I had to bend them slightly to fit them on the light, but they kept their strength and sturdiness. These hooks are very cost effective, and I'm sure I'll find other uses for them.
I made some holiday ornaments but didn't want to use a standard hook to hang them. I bought a small pack of hooks from a craft store, despite the fact that I thought they were expensive. Then I came across these and placed an order for a box of them. They're much better than the ones you'd find in a craft store. I'm now returning it to you. They're lovely and add a nice touch to your holiday ornament display. I was a little concerned that the top hook would not stay in place - But it's a good thing. br>Not to mention the price! This is a fantastic discovery!.
Excellent hangers, especially if your tree is younger and has thicker branches. I have 26 Christmas trees, each with its own theme, and thousands of blown glass ornaments that I've amassed over the years. I bought these to finally replace the gold threads that come with a lot of ornaments as hangars. They definitely get the job done. They're not the most attractive or durable, but they do the job. I wouldn't use them on my most valuable or larger collectible ornaments, but for everything else, and at this price point, they're great, and I'll buy them again, as I plan to use these hangers on nearly all of my Christmas trees. For reference, a photo of a kitchen with a food tree has been added.
Not my first choice for ornament hooks, but they were nice enough and worked well on my artificial tree for small and large ornaments, as well as light and heavy weighted ornaments. My other decorative ornament hooks on the tree blended in nicely with this one. The smaller end of the hook had to be bent with pliers so it wouldn't fall off the branches, which was a major drawback. I couldn't find any for Christmas 2020 because my other hooks are thicker and fit more snugly on branches.
These hooks are very nice, and they can easily hold larger ornaments.
