Selected User Reviews For HotHands 30PK Toe Warmers, White
I'm from the southwestern part of Pennsylvania. Even in the bitterly cold winter weather, I walk my dog for an hour or more every day. When the weather permits, I've been wearing these toe warmers. The local stores have run out of them since late February. Amazon is here to help! They arrived quickly and at a lower cost than I had been paying. I started putting them on top of my toes sideways after reading another person's review. This method is even better because the warmer used to bunch up under my toes and on the top of my ball of foot when I was walking, giving me the sensation of having a large lump under my toes and on the top of my ball of foot. In this way, they also appear to keep my toes warm.
When the temperature drops below 50 degrees, use the hot hands hand warmers to keep your toes warm. Although the toe warmers warm up, they are too thin to truly hold and retain heat on cold days. I wore my hand warmers in my boots and stuffed them into the inside of my fleece headband for warmth, and they worked fine.
When skiing, ice skating, snowmobiling, or simply playing outside on a snow day, this is a great way to avoid frozen toes. My husband and daughters both suffer from Raynaud's disease, and these socks are lifesavers for them. It's best to start using it as soon as possible before going out and becoming cold. It's difficult to warm up your feet once they've become cold.
When my toes get cold, these come in handy. Our power was out for four days due to a recent snowstorm. These warmers kept my feet warm while also preventing Raynaud's syndrome. I placed one on my toes and the other on my heel. Because this house was extremely cold, I changed them on a regular basis. I also take them with me when I go out in the cold. This is a product that I wholeheartedly endorse.
I'm looking forward to ordering more of them next winter. In my shoes, it was just right. Hand warmers were also purchased. It's ideal for extreme cold. Note: Once the adhesive is exposed, it is difficult to remove them from your shoes. Instead, I wore them as a pair of socks. Alternatively, tape them to a thin shoe liner and then remove the toe warmer from the removable shoe liner if you have one.
It didn't seem to warm up as much as I had hoped. Furthermore, these can only be used in "low oxygen environments" - So if all you want to do is put them on your socks and go to bed, it's not going to help much. Is it possible that I received a box that was close to expiration?.
I have Reynaud's syndrome, and my feet get so cold in the winter that they turn blue, so I have to wear my shoes all the time. They've saved my life on numerous occasions. It was a good investment.
In western New York, we can't live without them during the winter! We go ice skating and spend time outside, and both of these activities are beneficial. My old box had run out after a few years, so I just bought a new one. They perform admirably.
