I bought these to use as curtain rods. They'll snare each other on the side. I'm disappointed they won't work because the hook is very sturdy. I obviously did not notice the clip's sideways orientation when I looked at the picture. It looks like I'll have to return them. (Never buy anything unless it comes with free shipping and returns. ).
