A hobby store or a Christmas decor store would be a good place to start. The bulb they will use is the right one! You may want to choose another type if they will not work properly or damage Google department 56 if you're having trouble finding it!

It is not just the photos of the engine that make it look attractive, but you also need the caboose. Two large WHITE electrical cords extend out of the rear coal tender portion of the engine. One cord is meant for hooking up directly to the caboose, which only exists on paper. Lighting is weak and barely noticeable (other than on eBay), and there is not much choice. I am so sorry for your loss.
When it arrived, however, it was broken, which caused a great deal of upset. Right along the seam between the engine and coal car, it was cracked. a closer inspection, I believe this is a weak point, so others should be careful. It seems to be more fragile than other items in Dept 56. When the train is low in a little setting, they are very subtle, making it hard to see. In regards to the purpose you bought it for, it should be fine, but this may result in frustration for The display of the village is something I enjoy during the day so I don't mind it. I'd like to commend the dept 56 on their work! What a great idea to have a haunted train!.
It's a big disappointment. The train is depicted in such a way that it looks impressive. Once I took a look at it, I thought wow, it's so big! And still that last question what do we do once we plug The show was supposed to be spectacular, but it fizzled. It is impossible for lites to visit all the places where they could. The problem is that her hands are too big and her legs are too weak. Unless you are interested in the collection, I don't recommend this. The box will stay in my collection but I am Though the hype is less than that of previous editions, I would like to return it to him, but he is a train collector so he wants to keep it. I would not recommend it if you want WOW. You will enjoy this if you are a train enthusiast.
This is a nice, slick train engine with lots of great details. As well as the headlights, the back of the engine houses a coal furnace that glows white when lit up. The only thing you need to be aware of is placement in your Halloween display so as not to block the glowing furnace with anything else (which is also really cool). Likewise, the headlight is not particularly bright, although you should not let that deter you from buying this quality product.
An old piece of equipment needed to be replaced. We have a much better connection to the electrical grid.
I'd give it a 5 if it had more/brighter lights, but I love the design of this train nonetheless.
There is nothing really wrong with the piece, except that it is very dark. A pumpkin in front and a flickering light representing the coal furnace you see at the back are the only lights that work. It is very difficult to see those lights. Other than that, the detail on the piece is excellent, and I think that it makes a nice addition.
The light on the front of the vehicle stopped working shortly after purchase.
