Selected User Reviews For Delta Children Bentley S Series Deluxe 6-in-1 Convertible Crib, Bianca White
To begin, I'd like to state the following: After doing a lot of research on other cribs and reading reviews on this site, I decided to purchase this one. I didn't pay attention to the crib's bad reviews; It was a blunder on my part. Although it arrived safely, it SMELLED AWFUL, and it STILL SMELLES AWFUL after three days of assembly in our home. The stench is so bad that it has made its way down to my basement! I'll express myself as follows: This is a BEAUTIFUL thing. When it's all put together, it's a work of art. It's strong; It isn't a cheap wood by any means. That being said, YOU WILL SEE IT'S BEAUTY IF YOU CAN ASSEMBLE IT! It took almost four hours for me to put the crib together (and I am a pro at putting cribs together with five kids). Parts of the dowels had to be shaved off. It was necessary for me to pound. Because the manufacturer did not produce a product that assembled as indicated, I had to "drill" new holes with a screwdriver and hammer. At least three times, the components did not line up. I was going to return it, but it's such a large item, and I was so enamored with its BEAUTY that I pushed through and put it together. I don't think I'll ever disassemble it. Before I disassemble it, I'm going to fly it over the roof and through the windows! To summarize: At your own risk, make a purchase. You might be able to find a crib that is easy to assemble and smells like new wood. I got a crib that hurt my hands for almost four hours, was barely put together (with a lot of extra effort on my part), and stinks to high heavens!.
I bought this 6 in 1 furniture in the hopes that it would include all of the necessary platforms, such as a toddler bed conversion and a full-size bed conversion, which is why I chose it over a 4 in 1 crib that was less expensive. I don't see why it's more expensive if only the crib parts are included rather than all of the parts shown in the advertisement picture. That being said, if I need to buy the toddler bed conversion and full bed conversion in the future, I'll return this and buy the cheaper one.
I like the crib, and so does my daughter, but there are no conversion parts included. I'd assume that if I paid for a 6 in 1, I'd get everything. We should not have paid the extra money for that because now we can't find the pieces to convert it to a toddler bed. It's likely that I'll have to replace the entire set. I'm not sure, the crib is lovely, but it may not be worth the effort.
It was a little difficult to follow the instructions, and a few of them were incorrect. Instead, I relied on the photos, which proved to be more effective. Having said that, it appears to be quite attractive and well-made.
In less than an hour, my husband and I assembled this. There are no strange odors, and there are no difficulties in putting it together. It's also very attractive. It's great that it can be converted into various types of beds. I've been looking for something like this for a long time.
When the crib arrived, it was in excellent condition, with no missing or damaged pieces. It's true to color (I chose gray) and simple to put together. It took me about 1 hour or less to put it up!.
The crib is lovely. It's both strong and attractive. The only thing that was perplexing was that some of the letters were labeled incorrectly. For example, it stated that piece G should be used, but the piece in question was labeled C. br>As a result, putting it all together was a bit of a headache. It was packaged with styrofoam, which is nice because it keeps it from being damaged, but you'll have to dust off all of the styrofoam when you're finished.
It's beautiful, but it's not simple to put together. The directions aren't exactly clear. It was extremely inconvenient to have to repeat steps simply because the instructions omitted crucial information that would have made the assembly process go more smoothly. Annoying. Will begin using in the near future, and hopefully will be a good long-term investment. purchase for a set period It is, however, extremely durable.
