I selected a size 9 months old and it worked perfectly on him. It's worth the price since you don't have to worry about him rolling over, both-sided, as he sleeps with you.
I am glad I made this purchase. My 4 month old son will be transitioning from his bassinet to his crib with the help of this. We let him sleep in it in his bassinet for a few nights, then moved it into his crib to let him nap in it. I was able to get all the way through the night in his crib with it last night, after getting used to napping with it for a few days. It feels good to be back on my bed again! And also. It doesn't bother me to hear him make a little noise every now and then. Our current setup includes a MonBaby monitor and a HD camera, which have made me feel very safe until he is too big for his crib and ready to move to a bigger one. For the transition from a bassinet to a crib, I recommend it!.
Therefore, I am not very happy with that price of 30 dollars. My son already fits the whole thing at 6 months old! It according to the advert says it fits up to 2 years old!.
As this was the first time he used it, he also slept the absolute best last night! It's a great product!.
I was able to accomplish what I set out to do with it. When my son outgrew the bassinet insert I had for him, I threw it away. Despite this, he is too small for the bassinet and finds it difficult to sleep. Buying this in hopes it will fit in the bassinet made me very happy. I did find it to be suitable, and he is sleeping well. He is 10 weeks old, but he is a lot bigger than his age indicates. During the transition to new surroundings, I'll be using this on his crib.
A little cushion would have been nice. There's nothing spectacular about it, but it's ok. The mattress is not very thick, has a small amount of filling, and is not very cushiony. It was a little disappointing. It would have been better if I had done a better job.
The nest we use inside our baby's bassinet was made from a coconut shell. His favorite part of it is the music. Also, we took it on our vacation and used it for our son to sleep between us, and it worked great. Since it folded flat, it was easy to fit in our suitcase on top of our clothes. It'll last him at least a year, I would think.
The product was smaller than I expected, and it was a cheap one. Don't waste your money on it.
