Please note that the wood stain color shown in the picture is significantly darker than the stain color I received. The padding on the chair is stiff and inconvenient. I was able to pay I paid $30 for shipping and handling to my house and $145 for shipping and handling back. I tried to work out a return shipping arrangement with both the 3rd party seller and Amazon, but it didn't work out. RECOMMENDATION: DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! And, as a result of this change, I will never buy furniture from Amazon again.
My daughter wanted a glider for her room, but I didn't want to spend too much money on it. I figured I'd take a chance on this one because of the positive reviews. I was very pleased with how quickly it arrived and that it arrived in time for Christmas, despite the fact that I ordered it the week before. br>It was incredibly simple to put together. The glider parts were already assembled, so all we had to do was attach the back and armrests. br>I was glad to find this glider with the red/burgundy cushions and cherry wood because most of the other gliders I looked at had gray or beige cushions. br>When we placed it next to the tree, it became the most popular seat. It was extremely relaxing. br>Now I want one for my own room to replace my Pottery Barn armchair glider, which takes up way too much space and isn't nearly as comfortable. This may appear to be a falsified review, but it isn't. I was so taken aback that I felt compelled to write a glowing review right away.
The chair is beautiful and appears to be well-made and comfortable. However, while putting it together, we discovered that the right arm was missing a piece. The part "L" that connects the chair's arm to the back goes in fine, but there's nothing inside the hole to thread the screw into. The other arm screws perfectly into place, allowing the threaded part to fit inside the hole. I'm not sure how to get a replacement part because it was sold by Amazon. In essence, the arm hangs loose, rendering the chair useless. What options do you have, Amazon?.
Assembly will necessitate the use of additional (not supplied) tools, such as a power drill with a 1/2-inch diameter bit. , bit for drilling I can't speak for all of them, but in'my' chair, assembling the arm rests to the back rest required a hole modification because the provided machine bolts were too short to reach the threaded insert located in the back rest. The countersunk holes in the arm rests needed to be drilled to an additional depth of 3/16" minimum to engage the threaded insert located in the back rest.
My husband gave this to me as a present for our son's hunting themed nursery. If you like camo decor, the chair is stunning. It's relaxing, and the footrest is a nice touch. Although the arms aren't quite wide enough to comfortably breastfeed, we now sit in it every night to read bedtime stories to my two-year-old son. I frequently find him alone in this chair, which he refers to as his "rocky self. " The pockets on both sides are convenient for storing books or my phone. Glides effortlessly.
It was a snap to put together. My only gripe is that the cushions are extremely hard and lack any kind of cushioning. It will be necessary to add pillows or disassemble and replace the stuffing. The fabric has a plastic-like feel to it rather than being soft and comfortable, but it appears to be easy to clean as a nursery chair. Apart from those two things, I'm very happy.

As a result, neither of these options is correct. It would be too much trouble to return it, so I'm keeping it. However, I am dissatisfied with these two aspects. It was ready to use when I got it, and after three days of use, it squeaks. dang.
This is my third glider rocker, and it's my least favorite because it's so uncomfortable. Up and down, the back of the chair is extremely straight. In my lumbar region, I find myself wishing for a small pillow. The material is also unusual, resembling that of a folding chair used outdoors. The chair is attractive, but it is a letdown in terms of functionality.
