Questions & Answers
Have you used the separate installation kit? You wiped the glass with a lint-free cloth to make sure it was clean. A light mist of water was sprayed over the surface. The film was peeled and adhered to the window. Squeegeed the film to remove any remaining air bubbles. I'm not sure why it didn't stick if you did everything else.
Yes, it is simple to cut and use.
No, you can't see into the house from the outside; it's a privacy film. We have it on the windows of our guest cottage, and it looks great. I hope this information is useful.

This was my first time using this product, and I'm very pleased with the results. There is a video on YouTube that gives some advice. I'd go for a smaller cut rather than a larger one in the hopes of removing any excess. Because the film slides easily while still wet, trimming the excess can be difficult.
I bought four rolls on Amazon and one on Living Social. It's a little thicker than standard window film, and it's a little easier to apply for me.
This stuff looks great on the windows; we have a glass front door with side lights, and I wanted more privacy, so instead of replacing it, we installed this, which looks like a custom door. It's not difficult to put up; however, if you want a really nice look, you'll need to invest some time. Shipping was quick, and the price was reasonable.
It fit perfectly on my glass door and was incredibly simple to cut and apply. It appeals to me greatly. Thank you to all of the other reviewers who took the time to respond to my inquiries.
This product is fantastic because it is so simple to use. I had previously used it, but I needed to complete a bathroom window. I was overjoyed when I discovered it on Amazon! I would strongly suggest it.
It conceals anything you don't want to see. So cool. It obscures whatever you don't want to see out your window while maintaining the appearance of rain. It's incredibly tranquil. I bought it for my grandmother to hang on the tops of her windows to block out the view of her neighbors' roofs. With this film, she prefers the view.
It isn't the *best* option, but it gets the job done. I also cut out a piece for the plain glass window in the middle of the door.
Because of the texture and design, the outer surface isn't completely flat. Everything is fine. The backside (glass side) is textured, but not nearly as much as the front. It ought to be silky smooth, in my opinion. Between it and the glass, the backside texture traps air. I gave it my all. It's not terrible, but it's not as pleasant as I had hoped. When applied to double-pane glass, it appears to be amplified. It's only a minor annoyance. To begin, try a small sample.
