Our doctor said a helmet might be needed (which is several hundreds of dollars) if the baby did not grow out his or her head. A first time mom, I was a bit nervous about letting baby sleep on this pillow, so I researched a lot of different options. Nonetheless, the baby's head has seen a huge difference since this was done! The ventilated and breathable nature of it made it my first choice. While I attempted to breathe through it, I found it still incredibly dense regardless of its memory foam nature The Owlet sock is also used to monitor breathing, which relieves my anxiety about leaving it in the bed at night. The baby was swaddled with this plush pillow and didn't move when sleeping. We removed this from baby's bed at night as soon as he began rolling over and sleeping with one arm out. As for using these if baby wasn't in the same room as us and if we didn't use the Owlet socks - I don't think I would use them. suffer from a very high level of anxiety whenever anything goes wrong. As a whole, this has been a great experiment to help even out baby's In order to maintain its fluff, I wash it in the washer and dry it in the dryer every week. This mattress is made of memory foam and very squishy but also quite firm and sturdy at the same time (if you get what I mean). The blanket is easy to clean and does flatten out after baby sleeps on it all week, but once washed it returns to its original shape. There is no doubt that the quality is superb and the baby will enjoy wearing it! This would've been so nice if we'd received it sooner.

The baby seems to like it, and so far so good. It appears soft, and it seems to fit our baby well. So far I have not noticed any changes in the shape of her little head. I have only had it a few weeks, so I cannot tell if it is working It's important to keep in mind that this cannot be washed, so if you are concerned about getting it too dirty, I would recommend getting a cover for it. A lightly damp towel has been able to erase some of the spit and drool left behind by my baby. We are allowed to use it as long as we only use it for daytime naps under the supervision of our pediatrician. Currently, she does not like having pillows by her side at night because she is only two months old. After taking it off, it is a bit warmer, which I guess is to be expected after being used. However, I took a star off the comfort because I felt like it seemed a bit warm after it had been As a matter of personal preference, I prefer cooler pillows. The material seems quite soft, and so far, it's held its shape well even after she has been using it every day for a few weeks. The fact that she can keep everything in one place is something I like about it as well. As a result, I seem to notice that she drifts around alot during naps with the pillow, with the kicking and all, and will end up too close to the bars of her crib and just don't want her to hit However, the pillow has made a huge difference in stopping the snoring. To date, I like it a lot!.

Nonetheless, it is a good pillow, and I just recently started keeping it in his car seat since I couldn't imagine sleeping or laying with my head up against plastic or foam that was used to make the seat. I love how it stays put in the car seat without moving! I love how snug it fits! For bed sleeping it wasn't ideal because the baby moves his head when he sleeps a little bitand falls asleep, so it wouldn't have been on it come morning time. It is a nice pillow though and it is soft.

The left side and the right side of my son had flat heads before. This pillow helps it to get better after a while. It appears that his head is flattened Prior to this, he had not experienced this problem. It may be due to the shape of the dip part of the pillow which wasn't good enough, and it is a little hard. I got him another pillow to try.

We bought this pillow out of necessity because our baby's head was developed flat in the back from sleeping flat on his back. I would give it 4 stars if I felt it alone is a sleeping hazard since it is thick enough to push baby's chin to his chest. My goal was to raise him up higher than the pillow by folding 2 relatively thick blankets and placing them between his chin and chest. In fact, the pillow comes with a thick pillow case that I truly I found that it kept my pillow clean, but the color faded a little after two I believe the pillow is a good product and will continue to use it, however, I urge parents to be careful when sleeping around their children. The only thing I would change about the pillow is to make it a full body mat with a hole cut out for the head, as I don't want to face my heads on my chest.

What a fantastic idea. We use this for as long as our baby is lying down in the watch, because I'm afraid of her getting a flat head. Since it is dangerous to use the crib while she sleeps or naps, we do not use it at night. Although she falls asleep easily in her swing or mamaroo, we are always keeping an eye on her so I feel comfortable leaving it, especially as she's now 3 months old and more comfortable with her neck.

Make sure you are paying attention to where the flat spot is located and how the head is positioned. When we found out what we had done, we realized that we had created a flat spot high on the head. By consciously repositioning 2 fingers behind the flat spot, we were able to avoid it. There you go! It's been less than a month since the last post! My experience with this purchase was very positive.
