One year old gave this to me for a gift and loved It feels soft to the baby, so he likes to squeeze it. I had thought it was plastic, but it is not. The way it is intended to be used is not exactly clear to me. These colors are calm and soft enough for use as a nightlight in a bedroom without being It is so cute to see a beluga whale. The smell of hard plastic isn't as strong as that of soft plastic. Throughout the night, the lights fade gradually so it does not appear to be a rave. The charge lasts.

What a great idea! I think they are adorable and would make a great gift for youngsters of any age. These toys were given to five nieces and nephews (ages 9 months to 5 years) as Christmas presents. They loved them all. They thought it was a lot of fun even more than their older siblings. In the meantime, I felt bad for my own daughter since I hadn't bought her one, so I bought one All in all, it has been a great success. As well as being a fun toy, this lamp makes a great night light. I've seen them get stomped on, dropped and smashed against a wall by toddlers with no damage to the lamp. However, they still function as they do today! It's so much fun to just watch it change colors even for my 4 month old baby.

It has been bought for my 6 year old son in order to use it The beautiful light is perfect for an ambient atmosphere and to fend off the monster. I love that it's squishy, and he was able to figure out how to use it in a matter of I love how safe and cute it is. The charger is also easy to use.

A picture of someone tapping the tail says to tap (probably the top head) however, I've seen some people tap (probably the top head). Nevertheless, if I want to turn it off, I can either tap it hard on the bottom in front of the power button or I can press the whale head all the way to the bottom to turn it off. In the dark (small room) you can see fairly well because of the good illumination.
