br>br>Mumbelli are available in only one size. It is intended for newborns to three months of age. Loungers and positioners should no longer be used at that time, or once the baby starts rolling. Mumbelli places a high priority on infant safety.
Thank you for taking the time to contact me. It is possible to wash the mattress cover. On our website, you can learn more about us.
The bottom is incredibly soft and supportive. It will not necessitate the use of an additional mattress topper. If you wanted to, you could remove it and place it on another surface. It does, however, take a long time to dry after washing.

It fell apart after I washed it (which I did correctly).
For the first four weeks, my son only slept well in the mumbelli (as opposed to the halo, snuggleme cosleeper, rock n play, and pack n play with newborn lounger). I say decent because I've learned that newborns don't sleep well in any location. At least not ours, as we were getting at least one four-hour stretch per night by week four. One thing I don't care for is how short it is. I thought the Velcro attachment to make it more snug like the womb was a great feature when I bought it, but my husband would stretch his legs on top of it all the time, so we removed it. However, when I used it on the couch during the day, it provided a great storage space for burp clothes, binky, remote control, and even my water cup. I did notice that rubbing his head against the top causes his hair to fall out! This would most likely be true for anything touching the top of his head, not just this product's fabric, but more so its design. The high walls, on the other hand, gave me the impression that he was safe while sleeping with us. We also have a snuggle me cosleeper, which I was hesitant to put in the bed because I was concerned that my husband might accidentally cover him with our blankets (plus, my husband didn't care for it). We used it as a cosleeper in our king bed between my husband and me. In a smaller bed, I don't think it would have worked out as well, but that's just us. The cover is removable and machine washable. I had some trouble getting it to fit properly after that, but that didn't stop me from using it. I've never had a problem with my son's face being smashed against a wall or anything like that. I was able to sleep soundly knowing that he was safe in his mumbelli. br>br>Another thing to keep in mind for desperate parents, or even parents-to-be: We took Taking Cara Babies' newborn class, which really helped us get those longer stretches of sleep after three weeks. You won't be able to do much before that, so stay strong. It gets much better!.
The mumbelli are a big hit with our son. He seems to be perfectly content in it all of the time. I like how it's been able to evolve alongside him. I really like the reflux wedge. When our son had a minor head cold, we used it, and it was very effective. He's outgrowing it (though he still enjoys scrunching up his legs and propping them on the Mumbelli's end). I wish there was a larger size or a "stage two" for when babies reach a certain height. Transitioning him out of the mumbelli will be difficult, I believe. I'm only giving it four stars because we've noticed mold growing on the underside of the mattress (despite the fact that he's never had an accident on it), and I wish they sold the mattresses separately.
I have a one-month-old daughter who would only sleep if she was held until we bought this item. This has saved my life on numerous occasions. It's quite thick, and it appears to be very comfortable for her. I'm so glad I found this because we tried a lot of different things to get her to sleep on her own and this was the first one that actually worked!.
After a few days at home with my newborn, I made a desperate purchase in the middle of the night. I had no idea what to do when he refused to sleep in his bassinet or crib as a first-time mom! This has been extremely beneficial. He only naps on his belly now that he's five weeks old, so I'm able to keep an eye on him while still getting some daily tasks done in the living room. It's a little difficult to put things back together after they've been washed, but it's well worth it!.
He prefers to be able to freely move his arms. The bassinet was a huge chasm for such a small child. The Mumbelli proved to be a lifesaver. It made him feel more secure, and he was less likely to be startled. When his pediatrician wanted him to sleep elevated because he had reflux, the small wedge insert came in handy. We bought this for him when he was two weeks old, and he wore it until he outgrew it and the Velcro insert was completely worn out. If you're looking for a solution and a good night's sleep, I strongly suggest this product. It fit snugly inside our bassinet (Halo), allowing me to keep him close by without having to sleep in our bed. It helped us get through the early stages of sleep deprivation. br>It's super soft but sturdy, with a Velcro insert that's simple to adjust as they grow. The wedge insert is non-obtrusive and simple to remove. The mattress cover is detachable and washable. It's well-made.
We have to wake her up to eat because she sleeps so soundly in the mumbelli! These parents haven't had a bad night's sleep in a long time! I only wish it was available in a larger size because she is outgrowing it. The cover is also simple to take off and wash, and the travel bag is ideal for us! Love it!.
It made the baby feel safe and secure while he slept in it.
