In the beginning, I wasn't too eager to buy this insert, mainly because it was too expensive and felt like UppaBaby was just trying to take advantage Still, I must say that I really like the way it turned out. I now use the bassinet stand as a hamper, and I'm happy with its performance. After having used the bassinet for three months, the stand works great as a hamper. In the photo, the insert I got looks different than the one in the photo. In my case, the stand hugs the top of the stand in such a way that very little wood shows. I think the quality of this product is great. The color seems a little off to me White inserts should be included with each bassinet stand, as I believe they should be.
It seems expensive to me. Nonetheless, it makes it easier to use the bassinet stand when not being used. Our child sleeps in the bassinet only after a walk and the bassinet stand is used. The stand will simply stand there if left alone. Organizing laundry has never been easier with the hamper attachment, which takes just two seconds to attach. As soon as you need it for the bassinet, you can attach it right over the hamper bags or take the hamper bags off in two seconds.
The cons are You cannot add the bassinet and laundry bags at the same time, either or both must be done, as the bags must be wrapped around the bassinet holder to stay on, and they are difficult to attach as well as coming off easily and easily.
I like the idea of it being a double use stand, but I thought it would be sturdier considering it's $50.
That is a very overpriced product, but I love that I am getting new life out of the bassinet stand. I also love how it looks and how roomy In light of the Vista costing me about $900, I thought that investing in the stand would be well worth it to get new life out of it.
The fact that you can turn the bassinet holder into a laundry bag is very practical considering I have not yet used it. It would be nice if just the bags were not so expensive.
As far as I'm concerned, the concept and Uppababy are there and have never disappointed me before. There is enough room for the clothes and it holds them well. My only complaint is that the baskets seem to fall out more often than they should, and this is the only reason I didn't rate it as a five star.
I love these gigantic bags for transporting the clothes to the laundry and washing them. have not yet washed the bags, but I plan to update as soon as I do so that you can see how.
